The fastest direct flight from New York City to Denver International Airport in Colorado takes more than four hours.

However, the X-Men's Blackbird Jet are not subject to the limitations of passenger planes, and their speed is much faster, so the travel time can be reduced to about half.

That means it only takes a little over two hours to fly to Colorado and directly to Raccoon City.

One major reason for this speed is that the Blackbird Jet does not compete with commercial airliners for flight paths. Generally, long-haul flights of commercial airliners reach a maximum altitude of 42,000 feet, while short-haul flights are between 20,000 and 30,000 feet.

As a high-tech product that can be modified slightly to serve as a space shuttle, the Blackbird Jet, as long as it pays attention to avoiding other aircraft during takeoff and landing, can mostly fly alone at altitudes that no other civilian aircraft can reach.

In addition, its unique stealth coating prevented the Blackbird Jet from being detected by U.S. military ground radar. With no other aircraft interfering, the Blackbird Jet could naturally choose the most time-efficient route to reach its destination.

Furthermore, during the September 11 attacks, the X-Men piloted this jet to resolve two hijacking incidents, but were still forced to land at a designated airport by U.S. military aircraft.

This lesson led the X-Men to develop Optical Camouflage technology, making it impossible for U.S. military aircraft pilots to visually track the Blackbird Jet again, thus significantly increasing security and stealth.

This X-Men's special aircraft, built in the last century, still boasts world-leading technology to this day.

Another reason for flying so fast is simply Spider-Man's incredible power. Apart from the Next-Generation X-Men who can match Spider-Man's energy, everyone else, including Professor X, is completely overwhelmed. Almost everyone else just wants to get straight to their destination.

For instance, Storm, the pilot, pushed the throttle all the way down without hesitation shortly after takeoff. Co-pilot Jean Grey and Cyclops, the operations commander, had no objections; it just goes to show what the older generation of X-Men are thinking.

The Mecha that Spider-Man- Man had stuck to the cabin walls were playing dead, shutting down their external radio and broadcast systems, and starting to discuss things amongst themselves.

Alexei immediately asked, "Who brought Spider-Man here? At this altitude, if they were to kill someone and dump the body, they wouldn't leave much behind on the ground."

Henry, who had brought Spider-Man in, had no choice but to step in and protect this Little Bug who was about to be sent to his death. "He's our ace in the hole, so let's be a little more understanding. There's no one more suitable than him to crack the virus and create the Antidote."

"What If...? you're determined to do it, it shouldn't be difficult at all."

"That's true, but I like to have double insurance. Spider-Man on one side, and me on the other. Besides, with the X-Men and Spider-Man in the spotlight, many people will be more willing to believe that they solved the problem. We're just passing by."

Considering all that the Kryptonian did at Stark Studios in the past, most people believe it was Tony Stark's achievement behind the scenes, and that a certain CEO was just reaping the benefits. Henry didn't even bother to explain.

Upon hearing this reply, Alexei was speechless again. Gilgamesh replied in the internal channel, "You'll have to get used to it; none of us like to show off. And you're not exactly in a position to step forward right now."

"Yeah, that's right." Alexei reluctantly agreed, but still complained irritably, "Couldn't we just tell that guy to shut up? We're about to risk our lives doing this."

Still trying to smooth things over for Spider-Man- Man, Henry said, "In terms of danger, his Spider suit doesn't actually offer much protection; it's just for easy movement."

"Our Mecha can activate internal circulation, so there is absolutely no chance for external bacteria and viruses to infect us."

So how do you know he's not trying to relieve stress by talking?

"The risks he faces are on a completely different level from ours. If you really don't want to hear him, just turn off the external Mike. That way, ambient sounds won't be transmitted into the Mecha."

Alexei sighed deeply on the internal channel. "Actually, I'm starting to get the feeling that the enemies Spider-Man defeats are all driven mad by him. As his teammate, I already find it quite painful; imagine being his enemy. I'm really scared."

Cassandra interjected, "Don't worry, look at the map, we're almost at our destination. Once we get off the plane, Spider-Man will be a problem for the enemy."

"I hope so." Alexei held little hope.

Unlike regular passenger planes, the Blackbird Jet, under the control of the X-Men, exhibits a more pronounced descent. In other words, it doesn't perform a full dive like a roller coaster.

The altitude indicator displayed inside the Mecha began to decrease, just as Cassandra had said; we were almost at our destination.

However, the Green Arrow Duck remained stuck to the cabin wall, and the X-Men showed no intention of discussing the landing site. They seemed to have their own set of criteria.

Since Green Arrow Duck said he wouldn't interfere, he certainly wouldn't care what the X-Men did or where they landed. At worst, if they landed in a location he wasn't happy with, he'd just move to a new location on his own.

Looking down on Raccoon City at night from the air, you don't see a vibrant cityscape, but rather flickering flames. Does this mean—there's a fire somewhere?

With the Super Hearing and Super Vision of the Green Arrow Duck, they can even see U.S. military soldiers guarding a stronghold, firing rifles at Zombies.

Zombies are certainly sufficient for dealing with ordinary unarmed civilians. They seem more than enough to take down zombies as well, but unless you hit a vital spot, the Zombies will still be able to move and remain a threat.

Therefore, unless they are sharpshooters who know exactly where the Zombies ' weaknesses are, these U.S. military soldiers are just wasting bullets by using rifles. If they run out of bullets and don't know how to retreat, they will become one of the Zombies.

Do you need help?

Green Arrow Duck has discovered that Gwen Stacy and Betty Thaddeus Ross are under the protection of these U.S. military soldiers and are temporarily safe, but it has already put the two girls on edge enough.

At least they didn't look like they had just finished dinner and were about to rest. Instead, they looked dressed and ready to leave at any moment.

It must be said that their actions were quite wise. If the soldiers on the perimeter continued to waste bullets like this, sooner or later they would run out of ammunition and be overrun by Zombies.

Just as Green Arrow Duck was looking for an excuse to join the battle, he noticed that Cyclops had already walked to the rear of the plane and opened the rear cabin door. Storm and Jean Grey followed suit. Wolverine, seeing this, also went after them.

The Blackbird Jet was then taken over by the Next-Generation X-Men, with two people sitting in the pilot and co-pilot seats.

Standing in front of the wide-open rear hatch, Cyclops turned to the group and said, "There are U.S. military soldiers fighting the Monster down there. We're going down as the first wave of Reinforcements to provide support. The rest of you, follow Professor X's orders."

Having said that, he jumped out!

Cyclops jumped out of the jet first, followed closely by Storm and Jean Grey. Wolverine hesitated for a moment, but then jumped out as well.

Seeing this, the Green Arrow Duck exerted its Mecha and broke free from the Silk that was already degrading, and jumped out.

The other Mecha followed suit with the same movements, even the Eagle Armor Cassandra, who was sitting in her seat, didn't fall behind.

A stunned Spider-Man asked a Mind Stone- provoking question, "Of those people who just jumped out, who had a Parachute?"
