Spider-Man was finally remembered

Before Green Arrow Duck could even deal with the Spider-Man's problem, he saw three other troublemakers come up to the rooftop.

Ada Wong maintained an air of elegance despite her disheveled state, while Jill Valentine made no attempt to hide her panting as she carried the exhausted Angela Ashford on her back.

Apart from the little girl, the gazes of the other two adults were like high-powered lasers, ready to pierce through the Duck Plushie.

After all, they were comrades-in-arms, so Green Arrow Duck couldn't completely ignore them. He pointed to an empty table nearby. "The rest area is over there. You can rest for a bit and have some water."

Both women poured themselves large glasses of water and gulped them down, while Angela, the child, just wanted to sleep and was desperately dozing off. Just as Jill, having caught her breath, was about to curse, her sharp eyes spotted the man who had turned into Zombies in front of them downstairs. The reason he left such a deep impression, of course, was because he had a grieving daughter.

Reaching the bedside, Jill Valentine looked at the man bound in chains, sleeping peacefully. "What happened to him?" asked the Green Arrow Duck, who was operating the computer. "Because the conversion time was a little short, I injected him with Umbrella Corporation's Antiviral Serum. The virus in his body should be gone by now."

"But because he went through the process of transforming into Zombies, his body still suffered damage. He is currently in a coma and will have to wait for him to wake up on his own."

His initial anger had subsided considerably. "So, you cured him?"

"No, it's just killing the virus. Maybe he'll just sleep forever and never wake up, becoming a vegetable. This is the first time I've encountered a situation like this, and I can't guarantee anything about the outcome," Green Arrow Duck said, mentioning another possibility.

Jill Valentine frowned. "What If...? you really wanted to save him, why didn't you tell his daughter when you were downstairs?" Looking up, Green Arrow Duck teased, "Perhaps you could go down and bring his daughter up. I believe their reunion would be a great help to the man's situation."

Having been outmaneuvered, Jill Valentian didn't immediately agree to such a thing. Having just climbed more than ten floors, she didn't have the courage to climb more than ten floors down and then more than ten floors up again.

Anyway, the man is still unconscious, and it's uncertain whether he'll wake up. Let's not rush to notify his daughter. They found a quiet place for Angela Ashford to sleep on the table. Ada Wong, having finished her business, approached Green Arrow Duck. "Have you contacted Dr. Ashford? He should know his daughter is in our hands."

After saying that, Ida Wong gave a strange laugh. She then corrected herself, "That doesn't sound right, it makes it sound like we're kidnappers. I mean, Dr. Ashford should know that we've already rescued his daughter, right?"

"I don't know. There are no public telephones here. Even if he could control Raccoon City's public resources, he wouldn't be able to contact us here."

During their previous phone conversation, Green Arrow Duck secretly instructed his sister to take action, reverse-tracking the other party's location and attempting to obtain more information. That's why this story is circulating now.

As far as I remember, that biology PhD was similar to Hawking; both had physical disabilities and weren't skilled Hacker. So, the reason he was able to call the mansion and negotiate with everyone was because he used the resources the Umbrella Corporation had gained control of after infiltrating Raccoon City.

But on the building's rooftop, there are no public telephones; communication relies on Bonnie Mech using radio. Even if that biology expert knew his daughter's location, he probably wouldn't be able to contact the people here.

Jill Valentian, equally concerned, pointed to the radio equipment brought by the military nearby. "Can't you use that to think of a solution?"

After glancing at it, Green Arrow Duck said irritably, "That radio might be an old relic from the Vietnam War. How do you think we're supposed to use it to contact the local telephone?"

Green Arrow Duck had no idea how that old relic ended up in the U.S. military's most advanced nuclear, biological, and chemical defense unit. Maybe it was some kind of ancestral heirloom that they took out and worshipped before important missions. Don't say Americans aren't superstitious; even organizations like the military are.

"Tell me if you can handle it or not?" Jill Valentian asked, his eyes wide and menacing.

He brought over a laptop that wasn't in use. The Duck Leopard armor—Duck Type couldn't directly type on the keyboard, but it could control the computer via the SB interface.

A moment later, using the path information left by his sister, he hacked into the laptop Dr. Ashford was using. Green Arrow Duck immediately switched to video mode, allowing him to have a "face-to-face" conversation with the other party. After handling these matters, he pushed the computer towards Jill Valentine. She looked confused. "This is...?" In fact, even the person on the screen had a similar expression.

Green Arrow Duck pointed at the person on the screen. "That's Dr. Ashford. Just tell him what you need to say."

The man in the video reacted more quickly. "Where's my daughter?"

Jill Valentine asked Green Arrow Duck with some uncertainty, "Can he see us from his side?"

"Can."

After receiving Green Arrow Duck's approval, Jill Valentine brought the laptop to the table where Angela Ashford was sleeping. He then pointed the camera at the girl so her father could see his daughter.

Perhaps because they had climbed the stairs together, Ada Wong and Jill Valentine were no longer at odds as before. Now, the two of them, along with Dr. Ashford on screen, were strategizing on how to effectively leverage their existing advantages to bring down the Umbrella Corporation.

After dealing with one policeman and one woman who was somewhere undercover and definitely not an FBI agent, Green Arrow Duck finally remembered Spider-Man was nowhere to be found.

Green Arrow Duck communicated directly with Bonnie Mech via the internal channel. "Thena, please restore communication with Spider-Man. He might have explained why he hasn't returned yet."

"Okay." As soon as Bonnie Mech was activated, Spider-Man's voice came through the communication channel. "Elf! Can anyone hear me? I've seen something incredible. Elp!"

They had barely reconnected when they heard Spider-Man yelling and screaming. Green Arrow Duck, who had called the man over, couldn't possibly ignore it. "Spider-Man, it's me, Duck. What happened?"

"Zombies! Lots of Zombies! They're heading towards the area where we're sheltering civilians. I can't handle this alone, get more help quickly!" Green Arrow Duck immediately hacked into the satellite imagery based on Spider-Man's location. Although it wasn't dawn yet, the general situation was still visible under the streetlights. The "mass" of Zombies Spider-Man- Man described probably covered an entire street, numbering close to a thousand. This Zombies horde looked rather... miniature... on the satellite imagery.

Honestly, with that many, the Green Arrow Duck has absolutely no desire to attack.
