"Can't you stay and help?" Mystique voice tinged with resentment.

It's not a question of whether a scapegoat is useful or not. Rather, for Mystique, with Professor X's credibility declining,

He needs more help to hold the X- X-Men back from the Abyss.

Compared to this self-proclaimed alien, Magneto's Brotherhood of Mutants a poor fit, as their labels were too obvious. The kids attending Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters were also unsuitable; they hadn't received combat training.

After much thought, this guy is the most suitable. Even putting everything else aside, he can serve as a great meat shield when getting beaten up.

"What would I do if I stayed? This is a family matter; if I intervene, it would only add fuel to the fire," Henry continued to deflect. He casually added, "Call me when you're fighting aliens. I don't want to meddle in Earthlings' affairs."

"Then get lost."

Having just suffered a major setback, the X-Men were feeling dejected. So, when Henry wanted to withdraw, the others didn't try to stop him.

When persuasion failed, he didn't want to ask a second or third time, as it would sound like he was begging. Mystique, in turn, gave him a rather unfriendly response.

On the other hand, Mystique also had some internal thoughts to share. What If...? Henry was unwilling to integrate into their group and become one of them, then having an outsider present to listen was clearly inappropriate. That's why she decisively told him to get lost.

Henry was overjoyed to receive permission. Why would he want to risk his life for something as peaceful as this? Superheroes don't even get paid.

Henry slapped the most easily startled Nightcrawler on the shoulder. Sure enough, it startled him.

However, Henry's remark was merely a reminder, without any real force. He chuckled and said, "Brother, take me out of here. I don't know the way around here. What if I get lost and end up in places I shouldn't be, like the women's restroom or the women's changing room?"

"Yeah, those places are marked, so most people wouldn't accidentally wander in there," the Nightcrawler said.

"I'm an alien, I don't know any Earth writing," Henry lied.

"Oh, okay. I'll take you out then." The naive Nightcrawler believed him and grabbed Henry's arm.

With a "poof," it turned into smoke and disappeared.

Seeing that the strangers had left, Mystique perked up. Although she couldn't sit up, she still asked while lying down, "Where's Charles?"

Storm replied, "The professor is in his office."

"Pfft, useless man."

Having witnessed the U.S. military sending Mutants to undergo cruel experiments, Mystique dared to infiltrate a national peace summit alone to assassinate a specific target— Bolivar Trask, the mastermind behind Sentinel Program. She is no mere sidekick or assistant to two leaders.

He not only possesses exceptional mobility, but also holds considerable influence within the Mutants community. After all, he helped many of his fellow Mutants during Mystique's solo operations.

So now that Professor X was unable to play his role, he took over the command without hesitation and said to everyone, "Hank, I need you to analyze what exactly that thing Jean absorbed is."

"Sun Pharma flare? Who came up with that idea? Jean's abilities don't include absorbing energy. I need to know what he absorbed and what effect it had on him."

The Beast said with difficulty, "But I still have to take care of you."

Mystique glared at him, Beast immediately changed his tune, saying, "I'm not very familiar with the astrophysics part; my previous analysis was already at its limit."

"But I know a genius who should be able to help us. The only concern is whether he'll refuse to help us, using the excuse that this is too simple."

"Who?" Mystique asked.

Reed Richards.

"Is he reliable?" Mystique's unspoken question was about the other person's attitude towards Mutants.

Hank said, "That guy is a true genius. So in his eyes, Mutants are equally stupid, not much different. So if you really bring him in, some of his words might be very rude, but they will absolutely not mean any harm."

"Looks like another troublesome fellow." Mystique said helplessly, "Oh well, as long as he can help, it doesn't matter what. Let's get him."

"Okay, I'll try contacting him." Hank then walked aside and made a phone call.

Mystique then addressed the remaining group. "Scott, you go and use our intelligence sources to find out where Jean is. Ororo, you go to Genosha Island and find Erik, ask him if he knows anything about it."

With a "whoosh," the Nightcrawler teleported back, right in the middle of the crowd.

He stared blankly at the people around him, seemingly at a loss for what to do. Mystique could only say, "Kurt, you go with Ororo. Go out and gather information."

Cyclops suggested, "Raven, let me go find Erik. Ororo can go and gather information."

Storm didn't particularly object to this suggestion. Mystique, seeing this, said, "You guys discuss it yourselves; it's fine as long as someone does the work."

"Okay." The three nodded. Then they looked at each other, unsure who should speak first.

Seeing this, Mystique urged, "Get moving, boys. Staying here won't get anything done."

"Oh, yes." The three of them quickly ran out of the infirmary. Mystique, lying on the bed, sighed, "Hmm, young man."

Meanwhile, in Earth's near-Earth orbit, a discussion concerning the survival of the race unfolds on the bridge of a wandering Diberi Warship.

The science officer reported to their leader Vuko, "Our previous investigation revealed that the Cosmic Energy that destroyed the home planet was not an interstellar weapon of a specific civilization, but rather an independent and unimaginably vast free energy source."

This energy is not only used for destruction. During our investigation, we have observed on more than one occasion that the planetary landscape has been altered by Cosmic Energy, as well as the emergence of rudimentary life forms.

"The reason we haven't touched this Cosmic Energy all this time is simply because we don't have a concrete way to utilize it. But the natives of this planet have given us a great example: using specific individuals as containers to absorb this energy."

Through our tracking and observation, the target was able to continue functioning normally after absorbing Cosmic Energy and exhibited abilities different from most indigenous people. It is reasonable to speculate that, with training, this indigenous person could fully utilize the characteristics of Cosmic Energy.

I hereby suggest that, in order to rebuild our home planet, we must seize Cosmic Energy. We should select our own people as vessels to completely control that Cosmic Energy within the hands of the Diberians.

Vuko looked at all the Diberians and asked, "Who objects to this action? Speak up now."
