Another summons by phone

Henry, who was once again receiving a phone call at Audrey Hepburn's home in Switzerland, now had a real urge to blow up the entire X-Men.

You know, last time, he came back covered in dust, but the lady looked at him sideways and mistook him for someone who had gone off somewhere to have sex with the sky and the ground as his bed.

Upon receiving another phone call, the sharp-eared Ms. Hepburn darted into the kitchen, peeking out with half her face peeking out. Her eyes were practically curved into crescent shapes; it was quite a feat for those big, bright eyes.

With a forced smile that suggested everything was alright, Henry, veins bulging on his forehead, gritted his teeth and asked the man on the phone,

He said, "What reason do you have this time to drag me over? I thought we had already paid back what we owed each other last time."

"What, outsiders—!" Henry almost couldn't control himself and bit his tongue.

Then he remembered his earlier, cheeky remark, "Fight the aliens first, then come find him." Now that the aliens have actually come, it seems like he has no choice but to fight them.

I really want to ask them if they can just ignore what they said, like it's nothing, and then forget about it.

Seeing Ms. Hepburn's face becoming increasingly visible, with an excited expression that suggested she wanted to rush forward and ask for her fortune, Henry knew he couldn't stay at this house any longer.

If we don't give this old lady some time to calm down, she might not get any sleep tonight and could be interrogated all night.

"Alright, alright, where should we meet up?" Unable to bear it any longer, the Kryptonian had no choice but to resort to the last of the Thirty-Six Stratagems: running away.

After receiving the meeting place, Henry hung up the phone and looked towards the kitchen. The Oscars actress seized the opportunity and jumped in, saying, "Out again, kid?"

What's with this feeling of a son sneaking off on a date and getting caught by his mom? I bet the next thing she'll ask is whether he brought any protection or something.

However, Audrey Hepburn ultimately didn't ask about the safety issue, but instead said, "You have to be polite when talking to girls. Otherwise, they'll dislike you sooner or later."

Mom, they're not girlfriends, they're a bunch of Mutants who're no different from demons and monsters! It's a big battle, sure, but not some gut-wrenching one!

As Ms. Hepburn reached out to straighten Henry's collar, her eyes suddenly lit up! She looked him up and down.

She said, "Aren't you going to change your clothes before going out? This loungewear you're wearing just doesn't have good taste."

His closest friend is a top figure and designer in the fashion industry, and he himself has led a trend of an era.

Audrey Hepburn's eye for talent was cultivated long ago.

Henry's loungewear was just a set from the supermarket, bought in Los Angeles. His basic requirements for clothing were that it be clean and not torn.

Although he worked as an extra for a while and learned a bit about fashion, keeping up with trends costs money. The only thing he wore that could be considered fashionable was an Armani suit he wore when going out with a lady; everything else was cheap stuff from the supermarket.

Cheap clothes are okay if you know how to style them, even if the material is a bit cheap. From a distance, no one can tell. But would you really wear that out on a date?

Audrey Hepburn offered a suggestion. "Luca has some clothes at home; he's about your size. Why don't you borrow his clothes?"

"I prepared all his clothes for him, and many of them are unworn. Even if I gave them to you directly..."

He won't know, so there's nothing to worry about.

Luca Dotti, the lady's second son, was born in 1970. He resembled Henry, placing them roughly in the same generation. That's why Ms. Hepburn made that remark.

But Henry wasn't really going on a date. He smiled wryly and took a few steps back, distancing himself from Ms. Hepburn who was practically about to strip him naked, and said, "Boss, I can do it myself. After all, the occasion I'm going to is a bit special."

"A bit special, huh?" She raised an eyebrow, her playful smile, the kind of smile that could charm even Kryptonian.

However, he managed to suppress Ms. Hepburn's innate urge to dress up dolls. He said, "In that case, I won't interfere any further. Shall we return for dinner?"

"Well, I think it'll be the same as last time, I don't know how late it will be. So don't wait for me, I'll take care of it outside," Henry said honestly.

Taking a few steps back, Audrey Hepburn's eyes sparkled, and she said with a sweet smile, "Bon voyage!"

The Kryptonian fled in disarray.

Henry, who scrambled out of the door, didn't soar to great heights; instead, he pondered what to do next.

Two days ago, I experienced what should have been the town battle from the movie Dark Phoenix. Following the principle of "no one visits a temple without a reason," the X- X-Men contacted me again; it couldn't possibly be just to invite me for drinks, it was bound to be another good show.

And they just used the threat of fighting aliens to shut themselves up—who told them to be so cheeky earlier? So, is this a butterfly effect I created, causing them to discover the existence of aliens sooner?

Think about the scenes in movies where the two sides inexplicably start fighting. It's quite absurd, with each side telling their own story and starting a fight as soon as they meet. I wonder if they themselves had a strange feeling of "who is the other side, and how did they start fighting?"

In short, barring any unforeseen circumstances, once summoned, I'll face several major battles, the kind that will require me to appear before the U.S. government.

To continue concealing their identity, some disguise is necessary. So, a disguise suit? Even without a hood, their face needs to be altered.

Of course, not getting involved is also an option, and it seems to best suit one's original persona. But being in a VIP seat at the movie theater—a privilege no one else gets—should one give up this free movie ticket?

Henry had no intention of getting involved in such world-shaking matters. Even if World War III broke out and nuclear bombs were flying everywhere, he believed he would simply watch coldly as the Earth was turned into a mess.

But considering that Mystique is one of the most troublesome Mutants in every version, just like how she fooled me last time by impersonating Hepburn, I don't think I'll be fooled a second time, but I can't resist her antics.

Being targeted by someone who can change their appearance at will is, in some ways, more troublesome than being targeted by intelligence organizations.

As for those who think Mystique is the chosen girlfriend, why don't they consider whether they can accept her original blue skin and red hair appearance?

If that doesn't work, during the process, he suddenly transforms from the appearance of a famous celebrity back to his original form.

That could be so frightening it could cause a stroke. It's not impossible that it could lead to lifelong erectile dysfunction.

Not to mention that the other person is likely over fifty years old, probably living since World War II, and is from the same generation as the old lady in the house.

Henry shuddered at the thought.

They say men have three vices: cold tea, weak wine, and an old man. Now it seems they not only harm my body, but also my young Mind Stone. The wisdom of our ancestors is truly not deceiving me.
