Ultimately, Charlize Theron signed a management contract with talent scout John Thaddeus Ross, becoming one of his artists.

Charlize chose to cover half of the acting school fees, which naturally reduced her termination compensation by half.

If she could, she would rather pay the full amount herself. But relying solely on her mother's support and her own part-time jobs was already a struggle to cover living expenses and rent. Squeezing out half of the acting school fees was her limit.

John also suggested that she should prepare some presentable clothes. Charlize would have to figure out how to afford those clothes herself. She really couldn't imagine what kind of life she would have to live if she paid for the full tuition of acting school.

Fortunately, Charlize Theron does not have United States. citizenship, making it difficult for her to apply for credit cards or take out bank loans. She cannot afford to overspend or live on debt.

If she were to borrow money, it would be partly due to her pride, and partly due to Henry's prior warning. While it's true that debts of gratitude are hard to repay, financial debts are even more likely to escalate into disputes and become a legal shackle that binds her.

Henry, of course, did not offer any assistance or financial aid in this matter.

John Thaddeus Ross's money is hot as fire, but doesn't Henry Brown's money bite? From Charlize Theron's perspective, they're the same.

At least for this inexperienced girl, she knew exactly where the boundary line was and wouldn't easily try to cross it.

I thought that was the end of it. Given this girl's sense of boundaries, she wouldn't be the type to ask me out to dinner every few days, only to expect me to pay.

To my surprise, I received another call from Charlize Theron the very next day.

"Hello, Henry? This is Charlize Theron."

Good day, Ms. Cyron.

"Oh, Henry, just call me Charlize. Calling me Ms. Theron makes us sound like strangers."

"OK, Charlize. You just signed a contract with Mr. Thaddeus Ross. Didn't he give you some instructions? During our conversation yesterday, Mr. Thaddeus Ross seemed to have made quite a few arrangements for your future."

Charlize Theron said on the phone, "That's actually why I'm calling to ask for your help. I'm still staying in a motel, John wants me to find a place to stay in the next couple of days."

Even if I can't move there immediately, I need a semi-permanent address. He gave me some advice, but I still want to call you to ask if you know any trustworthy rental agencies.

"I see. Please write down this phone number."

"Okay, just a moment." The faint rustling of someone frantically searching for paper and pen came from the other end of the phone. "Okay, please go ahead."

Henry recited a phone number, saying, "The real estate agent's Fabio Romano. I found the house I'm living in through him."

"Just tell him you're Giovanni from the photo studio, and that you were introduced by Henry from Old Gary's side. He'll know about us. I think his listings are quite friendly to people new to Hollywood. You can arrange a time to meet him yourself."

"Oh, thank you, Henry. You've been a great help."

"Do you need me to help you look for a house?" Henry asked this more as a polite formality; he didn't really mean anything by it.

Charlize, on the other end of the phone, answered quite quickly. She asked, "Is this necessary? Who is this Mr. Romano?"

"A warm-hearted Italy, and quite the talker."

"Ah, I know people like that. I'm a girl who worked for an Italy modeling agency and spent a whole year traveling Europe. I'm immune to the enthusiasm of Italy."

"Haha, now I believe you can handle him. If he does anything rude, remember to tell me, and I'll kick his butt for you. I've wanted to do that for a while, but I just couldn't find a good excuse."

"Uh, do I really have to suffer a loss first?"

"You can just tell him that. While he's swearing, give him the middle finger for me, that would be so kind of you!"

"OK, I know what to do," Charlize said with a helpless tone on the phone.

"Okay. What If...? you're still looking for a place today, you'll be very busy. I won't take up any more of your time. See you next time."

"Thank you, Henry."

"You're welcome, we're all helping each other out."

After hanging up the phone, Henry whistled, inexplicably in a good mood. Just then, Kitty pounced on him from behind!

"Roar!"

: breakfast!

"Damn, Kitty, you're Tiger. Oh, no, Tabby Cat! People who don't know better would think you're a pig. If I'm three minutes late feeding you, you're acting weird."

"Roar~."

Forget your friends for the sake of beauty.

"Damn, who taught you such a complicated sentence? Tell me! Today, he's your fodder."

Grabbing the tiger's paw that was trying to mess up his hair, Henry grabbed Kitty by the scruff of her neck and threw her onto the steel cat tree.

With a deft twist in mid-air, Kitty landed on all fours like a nimble cat on the cat tree. She then relentlessly jumped down, determined to keep pestering Henry until he had finished preparing breakfast.

Henry had no choice but to take a whole piece of warm beef from the Fridge, which the butcher had just delivered that morning, and throw it into Kitty's feed bowl.

Tiger don't care about ripening or cooking when it comes to food. Even if you put cooked and raw food side by side, they'll always choose the raw one first. Warm food goes before food that's been refrigerated for a few days, and then before food that's frozen.

The best feed, of course, is the kind that's just been snapped in the neck, before the blood has even been drained, and then served to Kitty. Henry couldn't even be bothered to comment on this carnivore's dietary preferences.

But as long as it doesn't drool over the two-legged creatures roaming the street outside the window all day, Henry feels that being a little tired is no big deal.

It's true what they say, keeping a pet is like serving an ancestor; Henry was starting to regret it. If it weren't for that tiger penis that died of natural causes, Henry wouldn't have gone through all this trouble.

Kitty, who was eating meat with her head down, suddenly felt a chill run down her spine. She looked worriedly at the Kryptonian with a kind smile on his face.

Oh dear, tiger spine and marrow are good stuff too, we can't let them go to waste. The friendly Kryptonian wanted to go over and pet the tiger's head a couple of times to express his affection and reassure the little Tiger.

Kitty panicked. What should she do if she was being targeted by Krypton two-legged creature? No other Tiger had ever taught her that.

After playing with Kitty for a while, Henry heard a peculiar high-frequency sound. It was the call bell from the Black Clinic ringing again.

"Someone else has been shot and is seeking medical help so early in the morning," Henry grumbled about the unlucky fellow, who was either a black guy or a Mexico, as he found the Tinkerer's clothes to change into.
