Filming Set

On set, the photographer held his camera, constantly adjusting his angle to press the shutter at the perfect moment. Then he quickly rolled up the film to take the next shot.

Apart from the lighting crew, John Thaddeus Ross sat in the corner of the room with a well-dressed white man, drinking and admiring the view.

The only sound in the room was the photographer's voice; he kept shouting, "Look here!" "Look there!" "To the window!" "Hands down!" "Hands up!" directing the model's poses.

Abruptly, a voice that didn't belong to the photographer entered the room. "Oh, so this is the photography studio. The different rooms have different design styles. Looks like you can record videos too, not just for photos."

"Who are you!" The photographer, startled, looked at the stranger standing not far behind him.

"Henry." Charlize Theron, recognizing the man, realized her situation and hurriedly crouched down to hug his legs.

Upon discovering the intruder, numerous burly men rushed out from all corners of the photography studio. Each of them looked menacing and intimidating.

Henry acted as if nothing had happened, picked up a bathrobe from the side, and draped it over the girl who was curled up.

John Thaddeus Ross then jumped out, pointed at the man he had met once before, and shouted, "Henry, what are you doing! You're hindering Charlize's work, do you know that?"

"A job?" Henry looked around curiously, then couldn't help but laugh. "This kind of job?"

Don't assume that taking aesthetically pleasing photos is an artistic act that shouldn't be condemned or viewed with prejudice. Those moments not captured on camera challenge human imagination, not Moral standards.

After downing the amber liquid in his whiskey glass, the well-dressed man in the suit stood up. "Kid, you don't think this is some kind of hero saving a damsel in distress, do you?"

"We're a legitimate studio here, and we conduct work under contracts. It's not something you can just refuse to do. Want to know what the consequences of breaching the contract are?"

Henry held the girl's head down, preventing her from standing up and speaking. He himself looked at the imposing man in the suit and the group of thugs around them.

Some people didn't even bother to hide the guns tucked into their waistbands; they were just waiting to grab them.

Such a display of force, of course, did not intimidate Henry.

Even though the Super Brain kept telling him that punching was the fastest way to pass the level, the fastest solution is not necessarily the optimal solution.

Once you set a bad precedent, there's no going back; you'll only be able to beat the game with your fists forever.

So Henry never considered using violence. He stated his request amicably, "I just want to take her away, including the film that shouldn't be in the camera. Is that alright?"

At the same time, he leisurely took something out of his pocket and flicked it at the man in the suit who looked like the boss, sending it flying in a fancy parabola through the air.

The man in the suit grabbed the Gold Coin and saw it in his palm. He asked, "Where did you get this?"

Henry chuckled and said, "A Gold Coin, a promise. I thought the rule was to only answer yes or no, without asking why."

"John calls you Henry. Henry what? You don't even say your name?"

"Henry Brown, sir."

Without much hesitation, the man in the suit grabbed the Gold Coin, put them in his pocket, and nodded to his men. The crowd immediately made way for him.

Releasing his hand from Charlize's head, Henry smiled and helped her up. At the same time, he pointed to the photographer, prompting, "There's still the film."

On one hand, he was secretly relieved. Fortunately, the other party recognized the Gold Coin of the Continental Hotel, which gave him a chance to end things peacefully today. Otherwise, he really didn't know how he could have handled things properly without leaving any lingering problems.

The man in the suit slightly raised his chin, and immediately one of his men understood and snatched the camera from the photographer's hand.

Ignoring the photographer's shouts, he simply opened the film cover and roughly pulled out the film.

Even if he had been careful, exposing the film like this would have ruined everything on it.

The person who did the work didn't care whether the film was usable or not; he simply tossed the pulled-out film to Henry, fulfilling his promise. The camera was then shoved back into the photographer's arms.

Seeing that things had been resolved smoothly, Henry asked the terrified girl standing beside him, "Where are your things and clothes? Go get them, I'll wait for you. Then we'll leave."

"Wait a minute!" John Thaddeus Ross jumped out, demanding of everyone present, "What about today's work? What about the pay?"

The man in the suit glanced at his exasperated agent. "Let's pretend nothing happened today, and we didn't sign a contract. Since there were no results, why do you think there will be any compensation?"

John, silenced by the man in the suit, didn't dare retaliate. He turned and grabbed Henry, grumbling, "Do you know what you're doing? You think you're helping Charlize?"

"Let me tell you, the pay for this job today is more than all her previous jobs combined. Do you know how much I've invested in her? The lack of return is making me more anxious than anyone else."

Henry shook off John's hand and stared coldly at him. "I'll register with the Actors Guild myself. In a week or two, I'll get a background role."

"You've been mentoring Charlize for over half a year, and this is the only place you've brought her to? Doesn't that just show that your abilities are limited to this level? I think you and Charlize should terminate your contract amicably. Don't waste each other's time."

John persisted, shouting, "Do you think I'd agree to something like that? Impossible! I'm telling you, absolutely not! She's an artist I signed. Whatever I tell her, she has to do. There's no room for argument!"

Seeing his collar being grabbed and spitting on his face, Henry still shielded the trembling girl behind him, glancing at the man in the suit watching the scene unfold. He smiled and asked, "Can you help resolve the contract termination issue? He seems more afraid of you."

The man in the suit was clearly indifferent, keeping to himself. He shrugged and said, "One Gold Coin, one promise. I told you to take the person and the negatives as if nothing had happened; I've fulfilled my promise. The rest is none of my business."

Henry then took out another Continental Hotel Gold Coin from his pocket and flicked it out in the same way.

The man in the suit swiftly caught the gold coins in mid-air. Looking at the Gold Coin in his hand, he exclaimed, "Now I'm starting to suspect that you're either incredibly bold enough not to offer any tribute to the hotel to keep so many Gold Coin, or you're making some extra money on the side."

"Offering tribute? What does that mean?"

"Didn't anyone teach you this rule? Then you'll have to find a way to ask yourself. It's none of my business, and it's not something I can explain." After accepting the second Gold Coin, the man in the suit asked:

"How would you like to terminate the contract? My recommended method is that if either party ceases to exist and no one can legally inherit the existing contract, then the contract will automatically become invalid. What do you think of this approach?"

Having the topic changed, Henry didn't press John about things he didn't want to talk about. Instead, looking at John's drastically changed expression, he said somewhat awkwardly, "Just sign a written agreement to terminate the contract. Going to that extent is going too far."
