Tiger out of the cage

The Tiger enclosure at the zoo was peaceful. There were no bloody scenes or tiger-on-tiger fights.

The well-fed beasts each occupied a corner, lazily basking in the Sun Pharma. Even when visitors from the zoo shouted and yelled, it only made the Tiger take turns getting up and stretching their muscles.

Several energetic young men, not satisfied with the Tiger' businesslike attitude, started to jeer and urge the Tiger to have a bloody battle.

Among them was a black man who boasted to his girlfriend that if he were allowed to enter Tiger cage, he could fight off the Tiger. He spoke as if he were possessed by Africa ancestor, a war god descended to earth, and incomparably brave.

The zoo staff were used to the tourists' attitudes. Andy Tom hurriedly counted the number of Tiger and discovered that there was indeed one extra!

In his eyes, all Tiger looked the same. The fact that he could remember the number of Tiger in the cages was already a testament to his responsibility as the administrative supervisor; how could he possibly recognize who was who?

"Kelly, hurry and get some help to bring Mr. Brown's pet out."

This instruction from the balding Old Bai, of course, did not receive a positive response from the female zookeeper. The pretty girl, acting as if everyone had to defer to her, turned her head away.

"I told you, this person can't take care of a Tiger. I don't want to do that. Now that it seems they can coexist peacefully, keeping the Tiger in the zoo is the best course of action."

"You...!" Andy wanted to curse, but the words wouldn't come out.

Perhaps this pretty girl has powerful connections, which is why an administrative supervisor couldn't do anything about her.

However, Henry didn't have time to appreciate this real-life workplace drama. He walked to the edge of the Tiger enclosure fence and looked down at the Tiger below.

He actually spotted his Kitty right away, but the lazybones didn't seem inclined to move, just like the tigers at the zoo. Was this some kind of adaptation to local customs?

"Roar!" Henry roared, and all the tigers in the pack stopped what they were doing and looked up in Henry's direction.

"Kitty, it's time to go home." Henry said loudly, switching back to normal speech.

At this moment, Kitty, who had been lying on the highest rock with the air of a mountain queen, slowly got up and roared a few times to her left and right. The tiger pack responded, just like underlings being instructed by their leader.

Henry was greatly surprised to see this. How could they have subdued these zoo Tiger in such a short time?

But he didn't consider that the meat he fed Kitty and the amount of exercise she got from chasing after BB were incomparable to those Tiger raised in zoos. Even though they were a size smaller, Katie was subdued by the tiger pack as soon as they met, and there was no fighting at all.

Just then, a Tiger walked to the edge of the well near the wall, Kitty immediately charged at it with the ferocity of a Tiger descending a mountain.

The onlookers gasped in surprise. Even the group of young people cheered excitedly, hoping to witness a spectacular tiger-on-tiger fight.

Unexpectedly, Kitty didn't bite any Tiger. Instead, just before she got close to the wall, the Tiger next to the wall jumped up from the spot.

Using the high-flying Tiger as a springboard, Kitty pushed off with all her might! And with that momentum, she soared to an even higher place.

That was a protrusion in the Tiger enclosure, which gave Kitty leverage to push off forcefully in the opposite direction.

The Tiger then gracefully leaped out of the zoo's deep-well-designed Tiger enclosure with an unimaginable somersault.

Kitty landed right where the group of boastful young people had gathered. The black guy who had initially claimed he could fight a tiger hand-to-hand was so terrified by Kitty's presence that he wet himself. He collapsed to the ground, too scared to even run.

If Kitty were in the wild, and she were a wild Tiger, she'd be getting an extra meal right now.

However, Kitty had no habit of hunting live animals. Before she could even think of "playing" with the two-legged creature in front of her, Henry whistled and called her over.

Ignoring the chaos among the zoo visitors caused by a Tiger jumping out of Tiger enclosure, Henry stroked a tiger's head. "Where did you learn that move, you show-off?"

Kitty, whose assistive devices had been removed, might not understand human language, but she could sense emotions. Henry's dismissive and disdainful attitude pleased the Tiger greatly.

Henry's happiness and Kitty's happiness meant that someone else was unhappy. The female zookeeper rushed over like a madwoman, completely ignoring the tiger right in front of her, and grabbed Henry's sleeve.

How could you let it escape?

Henry was stumped by the question. He replied blankly, "I don't have telekinesis. They jumped out on their own, it wasn't me."

"I don't care, I'm going to take this Tiger back to its cage." The female zookeeper, disregarding everything else, started stirring things up.

But the chaos didn't end there. The reinforcements who had been called in earlier, carrying tranquilizer guns, saw that a Tiger had escaped from its cage and immediately raised their guns to aim.

Should we stop the man with the gun?

The distance between the two sides was too great; if Henry wanted to stop the other party, he would have to reveal his abilities. But the other party's position was too perfect, making Henry reluctant to stop him.

Henry, completely absorbed in his role as a theatrical character, was pulling and tugging at the girl, while Kitty followed closely behind, sticking tightly to the Krypton biped.

Although firing a tranquilizer gun only counts when the trigger is pulled, by the time the warning signal is issued, given the current rate of fire of these weapons, it's too late to do anything.

So Henry was paying attention to the man's breathing. Some less skilled shooters would hold their breath or exhale deeply before pulling the trigger to avoid the expansion and contraction of their lungs affecting their aim. The better the skill, the shorter this time would be.

The moment he sensed the man holding his breath, Henry roared and pretended to be pushed over, falling backward.

The female zookeeper, who was tugging at Henry, lost her balance when Henry leaned backward.

Unlike in the movies, she didn't pounce on the man and coincidentally touch his lips, creating an ambiguous scene. In reality, she only slightly tilted her body.

What was truly fatal was that, alerted by the tiger's roar, Kitty suddenly jumped to the side, thus shielding herself from the tranquilizer dart. The tranquilizer dart, capable of taking down a Tiger, struck the female zookeeper directly in the breasts.

A tranquilizer dart doesn't have enough kinetic energy to carry a person, but it's still quite powerful enough to pierce a tiger's skin. The little girl who was hit by that dart certainly wouldn't be unharmed.

Before she could even utter a curse, the dart knocked her down cleanly.

The young man who fired the shot, disregarding the fact that the Tiger hadn't been tranquilized, ran up with a strange cry and grabbed the girl. Even the balding Old Bai who had been in a panic earlier now realized what was happening and tried to take control of the situation.

Kind-hearted Henry still reminded the other party, "Mr. Tom, you should contact your medical personnel first. That tranquilizer gun shot was enough to tranquilize Tiger, wasn't it? If it hits someone and isn't treated properly, you can prepare to mourn your colleague."
