The Eternals' two mighty warriors
To make a good impression on this Eternals was meeting for the first time, Henry had no choice but to ask Kitty to sacrifice her tiger head.
A pet isn't a wife; letting someone pet it won't hurt you.
Henry only stepped in to stop Kitty when he saw her about to use her claws to push the person away. Although he wasn't worried that the Tiger would hurt the Eternals, he knew it would be difficult to explain if it tore their clothes, so he decided to intervene.
Gilgamesh truly lived up to his reputation as a mythical mighty warrior; ordinary lions and Tiger could not possibly harm him. With a practiced elbow strike and a flick to the left and right, he sent the unbalanced Kitty sprawling on all fours.
Now all worries are unnecessary. Kitty, this newly grown Tiger, is no match for this Warrior King.
Gilgamesh was certainly not the kind of person who lacked tact; he released his grip on the "little cat" in his hands before it truly erupted in fury.
Feeling wronged Kitty quickly ran behind Henry to hide, even though Henry's two thin legs couldn't hide his huge body.
Gilgamesh chuckled at the sight. He approached Henry and extended his hand in a friendly manner. "A cat-loving fellow can't be a bad person. It seems you're not the kind of alien that Kingo couldn't handle, so he tricked you into coming to me to deal with you."
Kingo protested, "Hey, what do you mean I can't handle it, that's why I came to you? I was one of the main forces when we were fighting the Deviants, okay?"
"Come talk to me about whether you're a main force member when your kill count is more than a zero. Oh, I forgot, the Deviants on Earth is gone. Looks like you'll only have a chance to catch up with me during our second mission."
Not wanting to interrupt the banter between the two old friends, Henry didn't let Gilgamesh's hand linger in the air for too long. After shaking it, he said, "It's a pleasure to meet you. I hope my visit hasn't been too presumptuous."
The two shook hands briefly and then parted ways, without engaging in any contest of strength.
This sense of propriety made Henry notice Gilgamesh rough but actually meticulous side. It seems that these Eternals have lived for over seven thousand years are all quite formidable.
Before Gilgamesh could ask again, Kingo hurriedly said, "Where is Thena? I called Henry here to see if he can cure Thena's madness."
Gilgamesh gave a strange look, pointed at Henry, and asked, "He can? A Kryptonian? Are you sure?"
Kingo replied, "He's like Sherlock Holmes... Hmm, do you remember who Sherlock Holmes is? The London who always wore a coat and had a pipe in his mouth. Never mind, he's not important."
"Anyway, Henry only spent half a day doing my physical exam, and he almost figured out who my parents are. The Kryptonian ' intelligence is worthy of their achievement of almost collapsing the Skrull Empire with the strength of an entire planet."
"So I thought I'd have him take a look at Thena's condition. Maybe he could find a treatment that neither Ajak nor Phastos had considered."
"Hmm." Gilgamesh back at Henry and asked, "Are you sure you can do it?"
"How can I guarantee I can treat symptoms I haven't seen before? I can only say I'll do my best," Henry said conservatively. "Anyway, I'll only offer my suggestions first. Whether they're suitable or not, you can judge for yourselves."
"Alright, I can let you see Thena. However, you're someone she doesn't know, and I'm not sure how Thena will react." Gilgamesh turned and walked out. "Follow me."
This indicated that Thena was not inside the house, and the group naturally followed.
Not far behind the house, next to an old tree with few leaves left, sat a woman with her back to everyone.
Although her face wasn't visible, her platinum blonde hair shone brilliantly against the backdrop of the blazing sun, creating a breathtaking spectacle that was impossible to look away from once seen.
The white linen robe was breathable and cool, and it accentuated her figure perfectly.
Regardless of what this Eternals looks like, this back view is definitely a killer.
Even as the crowd drew closer, she couldn't turn around. She didn't know if this was due to carelessness, a complete loss of her warrior's spirit, or if she could hear familiar footsteps, which reassured her.
Gilgamesh stepped forward and said, "Thena, it's Kingo. He brought Kryptonian who says he can help you cure your madness."
The woman, sitting sideways, didn't move her body, but merely turned her neck and slightly turned her head. Her profile and empty eyes gave her an unusual beauty.
It was as if a beautiful Greece marble statue had come to life; its crystalline skin seemed to shimmer in the sunlight, and its radiance was unbelievable.
"Cure madness? Is that even possible, Kryptonian?"
Her voice was soft, more like a question to herself than to anyone else. And she showed absolutely no expectation, unlike the elation one would expect from a terminally ill patient upon hearing of a cure.
Henry chuckled and said, "There's no harm in looking. But if you don't look, you won't have a chance at all. Maybe I really do have a solution."
More concerned than the person involved, Kingo, who brought the group, asked, "Henry, can you really cure madness?"
"I didn't dare say it before, but now I have some ideas. However, I need to do some tests to confirm the whole situation. Is that alright?" Henry's last question was directed at the woman who still had her back to him.
Thena turned around, looking calmly at the stranger she was meeting for the first time. She asked, "Where do we need to get checked? Is it just you and me?"
"Anywhere you feel comfortable is fine. Don't avoid anyone. What I'm going to do isn't a thorough examination," Henry replied.
After speaking, the person gave a whistle, beckoning Kitty, who was as far away from Gilgamesh as possible, to his feet. Henry removed the two ear-hook headphones hanging behind her ears and approached Thena.
"These are earphones that can detect brainwaves. Although they don't quite fit your ear shape, we'll make do with them. You can hang them on your ears or hook them in your hair. As long as they don't fall off, it's fine."
Seeing that the other party neither objected nor took the earphone, Henry lifted his light blonde hair to reveal his ear and hung the translator that Kitty was using on Thena's ear.
At the same time, Henry also had the opportunity to look directly at this Eternals warrior.
Fortunately, she wasn't like Lina Jolie. Henry had no disrespect for Jolie, it's just that those... ah, no, those sexy lips weren't really Henry's type.
This weapon master of the Eternals, whose name differs from that of the Athena by only one letter (Athena/Thena), does not have the pretty, sweet look of a young girl. Instead, she has strong, resolute features and a cold, aloof beauty, like a ruthless mask.
Her empty eyes should have been burning with a blazing fire. But without those two flames, she looked like a lifeless sculpture, ethereal, as if she didn't belong to this world.
