Trouble came calling again

"Oh, I forgot to introduce her, this is my sister, Wanda Maximoff." Henry looked at the infamous Scarlet Witch as Quicksilver quickly introduced her. How to describe it? His only thought was that the reality before him was even more enormous than any movie!

Of course, she wasn't wearing her classic battle outfit; both siblings were in casual clothes. Even so, they still had everything they needed.

- Siblings? Is this another retcon from Marvel's official sources? Well What If...? it were the MCU's siblings, they'd only be born in 1989, they'd still be at the age of snotty-nosed kids. The people in front of us clearly aren't.

"Actually, I've always wanted to introduce you two, but Wanda never agreed. Until today, she suddenly asked me to bring her to see you."

"Finding you hasn't been easy; I've searched so many places. If I can't find you here, I don't know where else to look. I asked people at the school to call you, but you didn't answer."

Henry said matter-of-factly, "Xavier's Talent School—oh, Jean Grey's Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters's phone number—is on my blacklist. It automatically hangs up if they call."

"Ah, you can do that?" Quicksilver exclaimed in surprise, his eyes wide.

"Your sister looks like she's about to beat you to death, do you still want to talk to me about this?" Henry wasn't eager to talk to his sister, but he didn't want the siblings to start fighting.

Quicksilver, like a clueless kid, kept glancing between Henry and Wanda, his gaze shifting between them in a comical way. Finally, it settled on his sister and said:

"Are you really in such a hurry? When you were in your thirties, I was worried for you, wanting you to find a good brother-in-law. But now you're forty—"

Before Quicksilver could finish speaking, he suddenly used Super Speed to leave his original position. Scarlet Witch's energy arrow dissipated before it could hit Henry's face.

Henry could have easily dodged it like Quicksilver. But he wanted to test the power of the magic and was prepared to catch the magical attack with his hands, not his face.

Surprisingly, the Scarlet Witch's control was even better than expected. Henry didn't even need to raise his hand to block her, and she didn't complicate things at all. She simply stared at her runaway brother with a murderous gaze.

The commotion at the entrance naturally attracted the attention of the people gathered in the restaurant. Inside, Catherine Hepburn called out, "Henry, who's at the door?"

Henry turned and answered loudly, "They're here to see my friends. I'm just chatting with them outside." He then gestured for a distance.

Ignoring her brother who had run off into the distance, Wanda Maximoff grabbed Henry's outstretched hand and dragged him outside.

This is to avoid the rude act of someone sending you away and then closing the door on you.

Believe it or not, Henry is capable of doing something like that. So when he was pulled away, his guilt prevented him from resisting at all. It definitely wasn't because it was too big... it wasn't because of the girl—there was no other reason.

Wanda pulled the person from the door to the parking yard, then casually tossed the door shut, and it closed without anyone touching it.

Henry was trying to explain how magic worked when he heard this woman, who he didn't know whether she used the name "Scarlet Witch," say, "Please don't do this; it's causing me trouble."

Although he didn't know what the woman's troubles were, Henry didn't want to do anything unpleasant, so he stopped the fleeting opportunity to analyze the situation.

The woman, having released his hand, then formally extended her hand in greeting, "Wanda Maximoff, it's an honor to meet you, Mr. Brown."

"Henry Brown, it's a pleasure to meet you, Ms. Maximoff." The lady extended her hand, and Henry politely shook it lightly.

The two, having released their grip, showed no chemistry whatsoever. The woman simply said coldly, "I must first clarify that my previous reluctance to meet you wasn't due to dislike. It was merely a request from the Sorcerer Supreme concerning the entire Magical World, which I was simply complying with."

"Well, I've heard another important name." Henry asked, "Who is the Sorcerer Supreme?"

"He is the Guardian of the magical dimension of Earth. Generally speaking, he doesn't concern himself with worldly affairs, even if witches or mages kill and devour each other."

"So my situation is unusual, isn't it?" Henry said with a wry smile.

He also noticed that when referring to the Sorcerer Supreme, this member of the Magical World used the word "He." So, was that person male?

Wanda stated bluntly, "I don't know the details, but I do know that the old man doesn't speak easily. If he does speak and others don't follow his instructions, things will get very bad."

"So you came to see me, does that mean the ban has been lifted? Or is there something so serious that you have to disregard the ban and come to me?"

What If...? it's the latter, then please go back. I'll pretend I never saw you, and we can all live in peace.

"In fact, it was the Sorcerer Supreme's will that I came to find you. Because Pietro knows you, I don't need anyone to introduce me or prove my identity."

"Can I just refuse? Whatever you want to do?" Henry said instinctively.

The message His Sorcerer Supreme asked me to convey was, "What If...? The Void to completely spiral out of control, could you guarantee you could protect those you wish to protect?"

Sure enough, it was about this. Henry said with a wry smile, "Didn't you guys think about going to the X- X-Men? I don't know if you know that Jean Grey has..."

Wanda said, "The Phoenix Force, we know that well. But the Phoenix is incomplete, and Jean Grey hasn't trained herself well to use that power. In short, she can't face the Void alone."

"Not to mention the other X- X-Men, they've already failed once. The fact that they all escaped alive is proof of their strength and luck."

Oh, so the X- X-Men were deployed. Sounds like the situation isn't looking good.

"Since the X-Men failed, who else can deal with that... Hmm, you mean the Void? Isn't he the Sentry? Or are you referring to someone else?"

"Their relationship is complex; you could even consider the Void as Sentry. The X-Men failed because they didn't have a strong enough vanguard to shield them from the Void's attacks."

In online gaming terms, it means we're missing a powerful tank. In the X-Men, Wolverine the best fit to be a tank.

Colossus is one. Iceman is a tank, I guess. But have these three joined the X- X-Men yet?

Wanda, as if explaining her own tactics, said, "Both Jean and Professor X are prepared to fight the Void in their respective areas of expertise."

"The Magical World, at the Sorcerer Supreme's request, has also rallied to prepare for a confrontation. But we lack someone who can control the enemy at close range."

"Only you can do that. Yes, that's what the Sorcerer Supreme said."
