Rand Lavezzi probably assumed Henry was there to bring in computer effects business for Stark Studios. True to his shrewd Jewish nature, he didn't make any promises on the spot. Instead, he called over his leading actors and changed the subject.

Charlize Theron needs little introduction; she only had one notable work last year, "The Devil's Advocate." John Depp, on the other hand, isn't yet a multi-million dollar star, nor does he hold a position where he can disregard directors.

Currently, the two are considered by the industry to be amateur actors with raw acting skills and affordable prices. As for whether their acting skills are truly raw, it's easy for those old-timers to nitpick.

Anyway, at the director's urging, they obediently came to Henry, and the two greeted each other.

"Mr. Depp, your performance in Donnie Brasco last year was truly remarkable. You held your own against Oscar-winning actor Al Pacino."

Henry didn't mention John Depp's true breakthrough role, * Edward Scissorhands *. The reason is the same as with * Titanic *: * Edward Scissorhands *'s true claim to fame was director Tim Burton's whimsical style, not the actors' performances.

Such praise was quite pleasing to John Depp. The actor, who is somewhat reserved with strangers in private, smiled, a rare occurrence for him.

"Cecilia Yip, your performance in ' The Devil's Advocate ' was just as amazing. Whether acting alongside Al Pacino or Keanu Reeves, you were evenly matched."

"Thank you," Charlize Theron replied politely.

Her behavior was quite distant, as if she were treating an ordinary movie fan, completely unlike the girl she once was. Even her handshake with Henry was just a polite, light one, without the warmth of her usual hand.

Henry wasn't oblivious to this attitude, but he couldn't help but hold on a little longer. He finally let go before Charlize Theron felt it was impolite, even though he wanted to hold her hand for a lifetime.

Henry acted like a normal industry insider, smiling and saying, "You two wouldn't have had the opportunity to work together if you both had received recommendations from the Best Actor, would you?"

Rand Lavezzi picked up on this, saying, "Before deciding on the roles, I did consult Mr. Al Pacino. He highly recommended both actors' performances, which convinced me to cast them as the male and female leads."

"It seems this movie has great potential, with excellent actors joining the cast," Henry praised.

Although he knew that in the world before his time travel, this film was a complete flop, shattering Rand Lavezzi's dream of becoming a director. In the words of one film critic, even the actors' superb performances couldn't save the film from its dragging pace.

Putting the movie aside, Henry certainly hadn't forgotten his own purpose.

But in those familiar eyes, there was no fervent light, not even a trace of trouble or confusion.

Henry then realized that this wasn't his girl, but just actress Charlize Theron.

Should I try to win her back?

This is a common theme in many romantic movies. Whether the male or female lead suffers from amnesia, their partner always goes to great lengths to help them start a new relationship.

In reality, at least for Henry himself, such tactics simply don't work.

A recently unemployed assistant to a washed-up celebrity and a woman who has just arrived in Los Angeles to pursue her dreams but encounters numerous obstacles, become together for some reason. They hone their skills and work hard together, gradually achieving some success.

Can the scenarios of a film company CEO pursuing a moderately famous actress and ultimately them getting together be compared?

The latter situation is too easily entangled in calculations of fame and fortune, or even coercion from those in power. Can one truly be satisfied with merely receiving an empty shell, without genuine affection?

Frankly, without that shared experience, she could never be her own girl again; she would always be the superstar Charlize Theron.

Even if you're embracing the same face, will you still feel the same body temperature?

In short, this is not a simple world where a mighty warrior's body trembles and capable ministers and famous generals kneel down; or a handsome man's face flicks and young girls and beautiful women lose their belts.

The Kryptonian Iron Fist can only suppress dissent, not win hearts and minds. What If...? anyone naively believes that fame and fortune can win genuine loyalty, they should go ahead and slap their master in the face or intimidate the tiger. At least that would be less costly.

After exchanging a few polite words, Henry left without disturbing the filming, leaving the director with only a business card before leaving to catch a final glimpse of Charlize Theron.

Farewell, my love.

These words can only be spoken silently in one's heart to someone who is no longer there.

Behind them, the private conversation between the male and female lead actors was still picked up by the Kryptonian ' Super Hearing.

John Depp said, "It seems that the movie studio boss is quite interested in you. Did you notice the way he looked at you, with those puppy-dog eyes?"

Charlize Theron nonchalantly remarked, "That just proves I'm attractive and that he's not gay. Otherwise, he'd be giving you the same look."

"Ming, this isn't bad either."

"Eek~" Charlize Theron made a blatant sound of disgust.

John Depp simply defended himself, saying, "I just agree that you think I'm attractive too. So, shall I buy you a drink after work?"

"You heartbreaker, you haven't forgotten you have a girlfriend at home, Vanessa, have you? I just ate the cookies she brought me yesterday. I don't want to turn into a bitch who slept with her boyfriend the next day."

"Okay, my bad. I was just having a drink, I didn't mean anything by it."

The laughter and chatter between two ordinary friends sounded incredibly jarring to the ears of Kryptonian today.

Henry pondered carefully where things went wrong. Such a large-scale shift in the trajectory of fate, affecting so many people, couldn't be explained simply by the female protagonist's amnesia. There must be a higher force involved.

Considering the image of Tony Stark the Snap while wearing the Infinity Gauntlet, it shouldn't be necessary to search for the culprit anymore.

Even if we don't know how this guy obtained the Infinity Gauntlet with all six gems, or how he survived after snapping his the Snap.

Based on Henry's understanding of Tony Stark, he wasn't the type to deliberately break up someone's marriage, even if he was currently a womanizer.

Although he changed girlfriends frequently, he never dated a married woman, nor would he pursue anyone who explicitly rejected him.

There's another strange part to his memory. Henry remembers Tony Stark dressed like a sorcerer, wearing Nano-Tech Infinity Gauntlet the Snap; but he can't recall what magic he used or what role he played in that great battle.

The only person with such scheming ability can be this one: the Sorcerer Supreme, who sent Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch to drag him into this mess!

It seems I've been unknowingly and inexplicably manipulated by a master.

Henry didn't think Tony Stark was an accomplice in this farce. Most likely, he was also part of the scheme.

That young man's only advantage right now is that he's backed by Stark Industries. If someone could disregard money and easily outmaneuver him, it wouldn't be a problem at all.

so?

Fuck you, Ancient One!
