At first, Alexei kept up quite easily. But the person in front seemed to have eyes in the back of his head, constantly increasing his speed until Alexei was panting and vaguely about to fall behind, at which point his speed would slow down again.

This probing was subtle, and it made the super soldier realize that this man's physical abilities were superior to his own; otherwise, he wouldn't have performed like this.

Recalling the chaos he had created and how he had taken the lives of two people in the confusion, Alexei realized that this man was not as simple as he seemed.

The solitary confinement cells are located inside the prison grounds. So, if they wanted to escape, they would have to cross quite a few open areas.

Alexei's idea was that if he had the ability to walk through walls, he could just run in a straight line in one direction until he got out of the prison.

However, Henry didn't do that. Instead, he would weave left and right, choosing locations where no one passed by or where surveillance was blind.

The reason he chose to act during the day, when the outdoor light was still bright, instead of waiting until nightfall to escape under the cover of darkness, was because most of the prison guards were still dealing with the aftermath of the brawl at the exercise yard.

Henry and Alexei, one the instigator and the other a super soldier with superhuman physical abilities, were both troublemakers who needed to be watched. So they were both thrown into solitary confinement immediately.

This gave Henry an opportunity to take advantage of the time when the prison guards were still busy and leave with a living person.

While nighttime makes it easier to conceal one's whereabouts, the lower temperature also means prison guards have more free time, allowing for a larger manpower for the pursuit.

This would actually hinder the escape attempt.

Furthermore, Henry didn't know if the super soldiers were cold-resistant enough. To be on the safe side, he could only treat them as ordinary people and act while there was still sunlight.

Although the escape was a circuitous route, carefully avoiding other living people to prevent exposure, it inevitably led to some dead ends, making it impossible to continue.

Then Henry would take Alexei and fly through the wall again. Actually, if it weren't for the extra burden, he would have flown away long ago. He'd probably be sitting at home with his legs crossed, drinking beer and watching TV.

The last wall was a meter-thick concrete wall. Even if you bombarded it with artillery shells, they wouldn't be able to penetrate it if the caliber was a little smaller.

There is a Watchtower on each side, but now only one is guarded by armed guards, while the other tower is empty.

Fortunately, the guy on the tower was looking in another direction, towards the interior of the prison. As long as he didn't arouse their suspicion, he shouldn't be chased and shot after crossing this wall.

He reached out to Alexei again, and before the other could react, grabbed him by the back of the neck and shoved him through the wall.

The process may take less than a blink of an eye, but the way molecules penetrate each other's gaps can be difficult for the average person to adapt to.

Because it wasn't the normal feeling of walking through a tunnel, but rather a strange sensation of something being squeezed into your body and then being squeezed out of it.

People with keen senses can even perceive the properties of different substances, such as cold metal or fine, granular sand.

When Henry led people through walls, he would intentionally increase his speed to reduce the time it took for molecules to pass through the gaps between them. However, Alexei Shostakov, being a super soldier, was particularly sensitive to this, and therefore felt extra uncomfortable.

The outermost and thickest wall of the prison finally pushed Alexei to his breaking point, causing him to feel unbearably nauseous. After breaking free from Henry's grasp, he didn't immediately run to catch up, but instead bent over and leaned against the wall, dry heaving.

The unusual noise caught the attention of the armed prison guard in the Watchtower, who turned to look at the situation outside the prison.

Although Henry's eyesight is impaired now, relying solely on his hearing eliminates the directional limitations of his eyes, allowing him to monitor situations within a certain range.

So whenever the prison guards made a move, he immediately pressed Alexei against the wall, and stood with his back against the wall, hiding in the blind spot of the Watchtower.

For lookout buildings that primarily manage the internal situation of the prison, the design provides a good view inside, but there are some blind spots in the view outside.

Henry happened to be in such a position. This allowed him to avoid the detection of the prison guards on the tower simply by standing against the wall in an open space.

If there were people on the other tower, my position might be exposed to their view. Fortunately, the prison guards are busy right now.

Although Alexei found it difficult to get used to the feeling of walking through walls, his keen senses as a special agent allowed him to immediately understand the meaning behind Henry's actions. Even though his senses were in great discomfort, he kept his mouth shut and refrained from making a sound.

After a short while, the prison guards on the tower, seeing that there was nothing going on inside or outside, and not wanting to be exposed to the cold wind, went into the windbreak. Although the view from inside was narrower, there were chairs to sit on, and the Siberia wind was blocked, so the comfort was unparalleled.

Once he was certain the situation was over, Henry peeked out slightly, pretending to look at the situation on the Watchtower.

However, given his current nearsightedness, he can't see anything clearly without his glasses. This behavior is simply a habitual action he takes when observing something.

It was this very movement that allowed Alexei to relax slightly, instead of keeping his nerves on edge.

Henry pointed in a certain direction, and the two exchanged glances. Then, one after the other, they escaped from the prison into the Siberian Wilderness.

Alexei Shostakov, who was running wildly, felt a wave of disbelief wash over him. He had already decided to live like this for the rest of his life.

He actually escaped from the place where he was destined to die?

Before returning to the civilized world, before leaving Russia territory, this escape was not yet over. This loyal Red Guardian, despite having a host of questions, did not pester the man before him for answers.

The two of them just ran wildly. When they got excited, Alexei, as if to release the pent-up frustration in his chest, suddenly roared!

They say madness is contagious. Before transmigrating, I used to be a delusional person who would yell meaninglessly at mountains and valleys; after transmigrating, I never did anything like that again.

Perhaps it's because they feel they've lived longer and are older, so they've stopped being so immature. Or perhaps they inexplicably came to this bizarre world, and that absurdity and unreality acted like a lid, sealing their feelings beneath it.

At that moment, someone nearby went mad, which made Henry, as if a lid had been opened, also let out a long howl.

Startled, Alexei stared dumbfounded at the equally crazed man.

The two exchanged a smile, not giving it much thought. It was as if a childlike spirit, a competitive spirit between teenagers, was holding them together.

Without exchanging any words, the two of them took turns raising their hands to face the setting sun. Sometimes it was me, sometimes it was him, running wildly amidst strange cries.
