Meeting Magneto
"Catherine, I'm going out for a bit. If anything happens, have BB call me." After finishing his meal, Henry handed the dishes to BB, the housekeeping robot, to clean up, and changed into casual clothes for going out.
Catherine Hepburn, who was also sitting in the living room enjoying music, looked up and asked, "Young man, going on a date? I don't mind if you bring a girl home."
"What kind of man would be so brave as to take a girl back to a house where an old lady lives? Catherine, What If...? you were taken to a place like that by a man, would you still find any romance in it?"
"That's true. But come here for a second, I have something to tell you secretly."
"How are you?" Henry approached Catherine's rocking chair. Suddenly, her beard was grabbed, her face brought close, and she received a sharp flick on the forehead. "Ouch!"
"Grandma is very unhappy with what you said. Go on. What If...? you still want to bring her back now, you'll have to settle it in the stairwell," Catherine Hepburn said, feigning anger.
Seeing that exaggerated, angry acting, well, forget about coaxing her, let's get out of here. Who knows what trouble she'll cause if we stay any longer. "Let's go, I'm in a hurry, I'm going to be late."
Henry dashed off and entered the deserted stairwell. Using his flight and penetration abilities, he first went to the Sheep Cave Valley Laboratory and changed into Black Super.
However, with his long hair and beard, he couldn't fit into his original hood. So Henry had to wear a black mask to cover his face. Then he styled his hair into an afro and braided his beard.
Although it seemed foolish, there was no other way. Having gotten rid of the disguise, Black Super was back at the original battle location in the blink of an eye.
This place is actually just the location of a bridge pillar under an elevated railway. There are no roads passing through it, and it's completely isolated from any villages or shops. The reason we could see clearly at night was because a derailed train caught fire, and the flames provided illumination.
The elevated railway here has now been restored, and the area around the bridge piers has regained some of its natural ecology. Apart from the dim moonlight, almost nothing can be seen.
It's not easy for an ordinary person to get to this position. But for Black Super who can fly, it's certainly not a big problem.
Magneto was already waiting there, surrounded by fine iron filings that constantly changed shape, as if he were using a computer program to simulate and test the structure of a machine and verify its feasibility.
As soon as the Black Super appeared, the iron sand immediately gathered into a gust of wind, swirling towards Magneto's feet until it calmed down.
Wearing his signature Psychic Defense Helmet, Magneto looked at the newcomer. Despite his advanced age, he seemed more energetic than when he was forced to remain on Genosha Island a few years earlier.
"Mr. Henry Brown, I really find it hard to believe that the crazy young man from a few years ago could have accomplished so much in Los Angeles. Can you imagine how surprised I am?"
"I'll take this as a compliment, Magneto. But please call me Black Super, not another name. And you didn't call me here today just to flatter me and make me feel good, did you?"
"Black Super? Isn't that Clown-Sup?"
"You want to see Clown-Sup?"
"No, the Black Super are fine too." Even though he looked no better than the Clown-Sup, Magneto simply couldn't stand the guy's constant stream of spiel.
Adapting to the person before him, Magneto said, "Come with me, kid. I think you can keep up with my speed."
He then floated into the air and began to fly in a certain direction. The speed was not slow; although it did not exceed Mach, it was still much faster and more agile than driving a car.
He was thinking that since the other person's magnetic field control was so convenient, why not give him a ride? In the end, the Black Super followed along, trailing the old Mutants by a body length.
Before long, the two arrived at a secret base hidden in the cliffs by the sea. There was no obvious entrance. Magneto casually waved his hand, and a large piece of iron ore, which was used as a door block, was moved aside.
Following behind Magneto, Black Super entered the Brotherhood of Mutants ' secret base.
There are quite a few Mutants gathered here, and many of them have unusual physical characteristics. Even the bizarre attire of Black Super isn't particularly striking here.
Upon seeing Magneto return, the Mutants respectfully made way for him, bowing their heads in greeting. Magneto, like a confident leader, walked past everyone with neither arrogance nor servility.
Compared to the respect Magneto received, the man with Black Super, an afro, and a mustache following behind him puzzled many. How could this guy be standing next to their leader?
Could it be another Mutants rescued from outside? This is arguably one of Magneto's greatest passions—bringing back his fellow mutants who have been persecuted.
Black Super ignored the group's wild speculations and went into what was probably a meeting room or something similar.
Mystique, in her original form with blue skin, sipped her whiskey and gazed at the moon reflected on the sea through a round window, completely ignoring the person who entered.
"What happened to her? Did she break up with her Magneto Black Super curiously.
Before she could finish speaking, a glass of wine was thrown at her. Mystique yelled, "This has nothing to do with you!"
As he took the glass, he also scooped up all the spilled wine with Super Speed. Black Super exclaimed in surprise, "So, you really are heartbroken."
Mystique grabbed the bottle, ready to throw it again.
Magneto quickly raised his hand to stop them, shouting, "Enough! You two, control yourselves!"
He then explained to the Black Super, "Beast chose to leave because he couldn't accept our ideals. It's regrettable, but we all respect his choice."
"Hank is a good guy, and a smart guy too. If he thinks something is impossible, why are you still going to force it?" Black Super asked.
Magneto retorted, "I admit that the Beast is cautious. He will conservatively avoid trying things if there isn't a certain success rate. He even tends to be pessimistic and always plans for the worst."
"But some things are worth taking a risk for, or rather, without the courage to overcome all difficulties, you'll never succeed. It's a pity that such a smart person lacks that courage; he'd rather look for other methods than support us."
The Black Super asked, "So, what does this have to do with me? Why did you call me here?"
Mystique, who had been harboring resentment, retorted angrily, "How can it not be related to you? You know what you did in Los Angeles, getting those big shots..."
-"
Mystique made a strange expression, her hands forming quotation marks. "Has your opinion of Mutants really dropped that much? Taking advantage of their bulletproof abilities, they trample on the law with impunity. Do you think things will end just because you can't find evidence? Today, the situation for Mutants is more difficult, and you bear the greatest responsibility."
With a chuckle, the Black Super said, "Oh, so now I'm a sinner in history. Tsk tsk tsk. How come I didn't know I was so important? Well then, I'll go apologize."
"From now on, if I'm bullied, I shouldn't fight back. If I'm insulted, I shouldn't talk back. I should just let others do whatever they want. Is that okay?"
