Hearing these angry words did not calm Mystique. Instead, it made her even angrier. She said, "What If...? you were to die, it would save Mutants from their current predicament. You've already been killed by that guy next to you!"

Magneto was caught in the crossfire, which stunned him, leaving him unsure how to respond.

Logically, I shouldn't know the background of this statement, but judging from the movie's clues, it's probably an old story being brought up again.

In 1973, Mystique left a blood sample to assassinate Bolivar Trask, which enabled the Sentinel Robots, who were used to fight Mutants, to gain their most powerful shapeshifting abilities and become the greatest enemy of Mutants.

When people learned of this from the future Wolverine, Magneto chose to kill Mystique before the United States military could obtain her. Then a battle ensued.

Seeing the angry and awkward atmosphere, Black Super mischievously approached the speechless Magneto and said, "Looks like she's still holding a grudge."

"Shut up!" "Stop talking!" The two Mutants shouted at the same time, as if by unspoken agreement, then glared at each other angrily.

Black Super quickly took a few steps back to avoid being caught up in the two's oppressive atmosphere. He even made a zipping motion around his mouth, indicating that continuing to talk would be idiotic.

He was no longer the naive, hot-headed old Magneto who would panic at the slightest yelling from a woman. His expression was a mix of annoyance, disappointment, and a hint of "Enough already, how long are you going to keep bringing this up?"

Whether she had lost in terms of momentum or wanted to save face for the leader of the Brotherhood of Mutants, Mystique yelled irritably, "Fine! Do whatever you want!" and walked out of the small conference room.

The Black Super asked curiously, "Is she going through menopause? She's so irritable."

"With your mouth, anyone would have their temper flare up from talking to them. You know how hard I try to control my emotions."

Seeing the old man clenching his fists, looking like he was about to have a stroke from anger, Black Super raised his hands in surrender and took a few steps back. If he were to anger Magneto to death here, alone with Magneto, he would have no way to explain himself.

After taking a few deep breaths to calm himself down, Magneto asked, "What do you think is the current predicament of Mutants?"

"You really want to discuss such a big topic? We could talk about it for three days and three nights and still not finish," Black Super said in astonishment.

"Actually, I think the problem is very simple, because there are two kinds of people in this world. One is the unevolved human, and the other is the evolved Mutants. What If...? there were no such divide, would there be no more discrimination?"

"So, you plan to exterminate all of humanity? That's a good idea, but I'm not playing along. I don't think you'd choose to exterminate all Mutants, would you?"

Magneto, after being rebuked, suddenly wondered why he'd even bothered to call this guy. Had he gotten himself into a stroke?

After composing himself, Magneto said again, "Of course not, I don't want to destroy either side. Well, in a sense, that's not wrong."

"But what I'm going to do isn't to biologically Deadman. What If...? we had a way to turn all humans into Mutants, wouldn't the problem of discrimination disappear?"

Touching his beard and braid, Black Super thought for a moment and said, "This method is quite creative. Let's not discuss whether it's even possible to turn all humans into Mutants."

"Do you think there will be no discrimination once everyone becomes Mutants? Isn't that a bit naive? Do you think that what Black people have fought for against White people, and what women have fought for against men, has been trivial?"

Magneto vehemently argued, "At least being Mutants is no longer a reason for the persecution of our fellow human beings. Because we are all the same now."

"Heh, Magneto, you're not a three-year-old anymore. Do you even believe what you're saying?"

Magneto said earnestly, "At least we've taken the first step. Just like all progress and movement, there has to be a beginning before we can gradually strive for more."

What If...? we can't even take this step, and remain forever stuck in the same place, worrying about this and that, we will never have the opportunity to walk openly in the Sun Pharma.

"Heh." Black Super chuckled coldly twice more, then said, "So what happens after that? Do you think society can possibly return to what it used to be, with everyone living harmoniously?"

"Impossible! Holding a sharp weapon breeds murderous intent. Do you know how difficult it is to get someone to control their desires and refrain from abusing their power or strength to bully others?"

"Countless petty people, once they gain power, think only of getting revenge for past misfortunes. Whoever owes me an explanation, I will repay them twofold. Even if no one provokes me, I will always flaunt the power in my hands, so that people will fear me, be afraid of me, and dare not offend me."

"I hate being bullied, but as long as I can stand on the side of the bully, I will use bloody examples to let the whole world know that I am not to be messed with. I will live my life as the very thing I hate."

"Have you thought about how to stop this disgusting thing? Or do you think it's unnecessary to think about it at this stage? Let's take the first step and then make corrections slowly. There may be a period of growing pains, but people will gradually learn and improve."

"Can you do things with a clear conscience just because others suffer and you don't pay the price? Don't think that just because everyone has become Mutants and there are no differences between each other, there shouldn't be discrimination."

"In fact, even among Mutants themselves, isn't there discrimination and class distinctions? You yourselves categorize Mutants into five groups from weakest to strongest based on their abilities."

"Epsilon-class (ε), Delta-class (α), Beta (β), Alpha (α), Omega-class (Ω). Someone as powerful as you, would you listen to the opinion of an Epsilon-class Mutants? What If...? his opinion contradicts yours?"

When you stubbornly believe you are right, is it possible for you to accept the opinions of others? Even if that opinion benefits the majority but harms your interests, would you still accept it?

"And the most fucking messed up part of this whole thing is that Mutants's level of ability is unknown before he awakens his mutant abilities, and what abilities he awakens is also uncontrollable."

"In other words, the First Family's daughter might be a weak Epsilon-class Mutants, while a child from an illegal immigrant family might awaken as a powerful, Alpha- level Mutants. What do you think would happen if these two clashed?"

"Do you realize it now, Magneto? The world you desire is not a return to the harmonious society of the past. It's about reshaping order, creating a new world where the strong rule everything, and who is the strong is entirely random."
