Because Catherine Hepburn was not in the financial industry, her family subscribed to the Wall Street Journal, the largest New York Times in the United States.

Kryptonian want to live a carefree, laid-back life certainly don't ignore everything. Knowing where the wind is blowing and knowing which way to hide is crucial.

However, today's newspaper carried a very inconspicuous news item: a report on a car accident.

Nikolai Semyonov, a former researcher at the Red Empire and a senior researcher at Oscorp, died after crashing into a telephone pole while intoxicated.

The report reads like an inspirational essay, recounting how this highly talented individual sought refuge in the Lighthouse Nation of freedom during the collapse of the Red Empire. Sadly, his ambitions were cut short, and he died prematurely. Alas!

American news articles often feature sensational and dramatic stories, and their tone can be quite intense.

Henry knew, of course, that this news wasn't meant to glorify a righteous man who had joined the side of justice, but rather to inform someone that they had done their job and that it was time to pay their due reward.

The unspoken message is: if you don't know what's good for you or don't want to admit it, don't blame them for what they'll do next.

Some threats really don't need to be spoken. What If...? someone pretends to be stupid, or genuinely doesn't understand the hidden meaning in these words, they probably won't have any complaints about how they end up dying.

Henry, who was preparing breakfast, saw the news and said to Maria Stark Tom, who had just entered the room, "I'm going to buy some butter. I didn't even realize yesterday that we were almost out of butter; we won't have enough for breakfast today."

Okay. Is Catherine awake?

"He's up, he's in the bathroom. Please keep an eye on him."

"No problem."

Henry went out and returned in no time. The old lady, however, hadn't even come out of the chapel yet.

Maria Stark Tom said with a slight surprise, "You're back so soon?"

"I ran there. I hadn't had breakfast yet, and I was hungry," Henry said with a smile.

Osborn Mansion.

Having just finished his morning exercise and taken a shower, Norman Osborn was shirtless, drying himself with a large bath towel. His butler, standing nearby, was reporting on the day's schedule and the progress of previously assigned tasks.

After the butler reported that the news of Nikolai Semyonov, a senior researcher at Oscorp, had died in a car accident in the social section of the New York Times, he asked, "Sir, should I go and remind that gentleman?"

Changing into casual clothes, Norman Osborn walked towards his study on the top floor, saying, "It was just an unfortunate accident. Why should we remind someone of that?"

"Yes, sir." The butler didn't say much more about this matter, but continued to report on other things.

Upon entering the study, Norman Osborn's unusual stop at the desk made the elderly man, trained as an English butler, feel uneasy. He looked up at his master.

Norman Osborn asked, "Has anyone come into the study today, Harry?"

"No, sir. After breakfast this morning, the young master went to school by himself. Just like a normal high school student, he went to catch the school bus two blocks away."

Norman Osborn said with disgust, "Good job. Have the security team write a report explaining why this thing ended up on my desk."

Only then did the old butler notice something on the desk that should never have been there: an MD disc, made by Sony, with a capacity of 140MB, just like the one that person had brought a few days ago.

The remains of the discs he had previously destroyed have been handed over to the research department of Oscorp to try and recover the data. The conclusion, of course, is that it's impossible unless Norman Osborn plans to start a new research project.

Could the contents of this suddenly appearing MD disc be the same? But Norman Osborn and his butler were more interested in one thing: how did this thing end up here?

Norman Osborn reached for the MD disc, and the old butler tried to stop him, but it was too late. However, it seemed the disc wasn't coated with poison or had any traps set on it.

The cunning and ruthless businessman shook the disc in his hand. "Put Henry Brown on a special watch list. I doubt anyone can do that without constant surveillance. But everything he does publicly needs to be recorded."

When asked for advice, Lord Osborn would clearly state his doubts. In this case, it was simply a matter of giving an order. So the old butler answered without hesitation, "Yes, sir. Is there anything else?"

Norman Osborn instructed, "Inform the technical department of Oscorp that today's first stop is theirs, and all other matters will be postponed."

"Also, prepare a clean computer with an MD disk drive that is not connected to any internet. I don't want any viruses on it that could paralyze the entire company's system."

These days, computer threats are mainly computer viruses that damage systems or cripple computer functions, rather than spyware programs like worms and Trojans. That's why Norman Osborn made that statement.

"Yes, sir."

"Go and inform them. I'll leave after I finish breakfast."

The old butler nodded slightly in agreement and left first.

Norman Osborn didn't hand the MD discs to anyone; he carried them himself. When he entered Oscorp's research center, a manager had already prepared a laptop, and IT personnel and Biotechnology researchers were waiting.

With the MD disc placed next to the external disk drive, Norman Osborn focused his attention on the large external screen connected to his laptop. "First, check for any information security concerns, then search the internal data."

"Yes, Mr. Osborn." The supervisor then assigned the task.

The virus scan was quick. Although the computer speed and MD reading speed of this era were not very fast, the size and number of files were not so large that they could not be scanned in a short time.

The personnel in charge of cybersecurity, in addition to checking the system with several well-known antivirus programs on the market, also used an internally customized antivirus program to confirm that it was safe before handing it over to the next person.

The MD disc contains a large amount of text, data, and image files, including ingredient formulas for dementia medications.

Pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, tracking medical examination (laboratory) reports of purchasing personnel for India pharmaceutical companies.

Because the India side was initially concerned about potential problems with the drug, they were very generous with the user test reports. It is hoped that the drug researchers can issue timely warnings What If...? any issues arise.

Unlike profit sharing, which is stingy and avoids giving anything if possible.

Now, some anonymous Kryptonian has taken advantage of the situation and released all the data.
