Confirming the Target

Having made up his mind, Henry first needed to confirm two things.

First, William Stryker had already moved into a secret military base somewhere in Canada. Second, Jason Stryker—Mastermind—was there as well.

Taking care of both targets in one go was the focus of his operation. Letting either one escape would count as mission failure.

He carefully controlled one Sparrow Spy Drone and sent it into Reservoir Base, recording everything it saw along the way. The other two served as locators and scanners, conducting scans and surveillance from outside.

The U.S. military, having just looted the X-Men's base, was carrying the stolen components into a large room. That was the space they had cleared out to build a second Improved Cerebro.

Henry also saw the captured Mutant students. They had simply been locked up, with no inhumane experiments conducted on them. Clearly, research into Mutants was no longer the top priority.

Most of the U.S. military personnel were busy, and Colonel William Stryker, their commander, was even busier. People constantly brought him documents, reported matters verbally, and waited for his orders.

Even when no one came looking for him, William Stryker went around inspecting the base's restart operations and checking whether the transported supplies were complete.

Henry suppressed the urge to charge in and kill them, carefully controlling the Sparrow Drone as it moved.

Its gravity hover system allowed the small machine to drift without making much noise, while its optical camouflage hid it effectively from human eyes and ordinary surveillance cameras.
