• Curt Connors injected himself with the Regeneration Gene Serum, regrew his arm, and became the savage Lizard, who later escaped into the city and ate a Symbiote-possessed kitten.
• Henry learned of Connors’s disappearance and suspected the serum had caused his transformation, then sought information from Doctor Otto Octavius and learned about Octavius’s encounter with other Spider-Men and villains.
• Black Super confronted the Lizard and a Symbiote, used a sonic attack to drive the creature away, and badly injured Connors before taking him to Peace Clinic.
