Background / History

Jun Huang lost her mother while young and spent much of her childhood in the Realm Protectorate. There, she became as close as sisters with Su Qing's elder sister and came to regard Su Qing as a younger brother of sorts. Her familiarity with his formerly timid disposition makes his later confidence and political acumen particularly difficult for her to accept at first. 16 17

When the Tang State Residence crisis threatens Su Qing and the Realm Protectorate, Jun Huang comes to warn and protect him. She initially demands that he act under her command, but Su Qing rejects her supervision and wagers that he can resolve the matter by winning the Yan Emperor's favor.
