Hyuga Kagami fought Danzo during the Bloodline Fusion Ritual’s collapse, then focused on finding Danzo and preparing his own body for the Rinnegan ritual. After Konoha restored Sarutobi Hiruzen as Hokage, Hyuga Kagami pursued the Yin Seal and Eight Inner Gates while keeping his training private.

• Orochimaru summoned the First and Second Hokage to fight Danzo, and Hyuga Kagami revealed that Danzo had stolen Sharingan from the Uchiha.
• The Hokage brothers, Hyuga Kagami, and Orochimaru attacked Danzo, but he survived repeated lethal blows with Izanagi and escaped as the volcano collapsed.
• Danzo fought the Fourth Raikage and Kumogakure ninja, while Hyuga Kagami documented the ritual and discovered that Danzo contained several competing wills.
• Hyuga Kagami returned to Konoha, where the Third Hokage resumed his position, then arranged to study the Yin Seal and recruited Rin’s help to borrow its scroll from Tsunade.
• Hyuga Kagami failed to master the Yin Seal with his own body, but realized his Fire Clone had learned it and considered adapting the technique for male cultivators.

Hyuga Kagami advanced his Earth Release clone’s Explosion Release and began developing Dust Release while Danzo’s pursuit drew in the villages and Akatsuki. Danzo defeated his pursuers, killed Orochimaru, and infiltrated Kirigakure as reports of his rampage spread across the shinobi world.

• Hyuga Kagami developed Explosion Release with his Earth Release clone, then began fusing Earth, Fire, and Wind chakra and produced a prototype of Dust Release.
• Danzo used false leads to draw out his pursuers as Akatsuki, Konoha, and Hyuga Kagami converged on his hideouts.
• Hyuga Kagami fought Sasori and Obito, using clones and Dust Release to shatter Obito’s Susanoo before retreating with the wounded Konoha Anbu.
• Danzo defeated the Six Paths of Pain with Susanoo and Wood Release, then killed hundreds of Grass Ninja who tried to seize his Mangekyō Sharingan.
• Danzo faced the Fourth Raikage and Killer B, overpowered them, and declared that the Five Great Shinobi Villages’ era would end.
• Orochimaru confronted Danzo in the Land of Hot Water, but Danzo trapped and killed him before continuing toward Kirigakure.
• Danzo infiltrated Kirigakure disguised as Nasu Tsukiko, while reconnaissance groups across the lands investigated his battlefields and spread reports of his rampage.

Hyuga Kagami defeated and killed Danzo, then arranged for Karin to host the recovering Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan as Akatsuki attacked Iwagakure. While the Five Kage gathered to address Danzo and Akatsuki, Kagami prepared a dangerous Academy combat exercise and the arc ended with the Kazekage asking about it.

• Danzo fought Hyuga Kagami, Shisui, and Itachi on Bird Crossing Island, but Kagami exposed Danzo’s attempt to absorb his ocular power and tore out Danzo’s Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.
• Hyuga Kagami explained how he had manipulated Danzo into testing the path to godhood, then destroyed Danzo with Truth-Seeking Orbs as Bird Crossing Island sank.
• Hyuga Kagami placed the depleted Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan in Karin, while Akatsuki identified Deidara as a possible God Organization member and attacked Iwagakure, capturing Rōshi and Han.
• Konoha’s leaders agreed to hold a Five Kage Summit and search for Danzo, while Hyuga Kagami arranged a practical Academy combat exercise for the students.
• Hyuga Kagami grouped Naruto with Sasuke and Sakura for team matches in the Forest of Death, where four Chunin instructors would hunt the students and take their prop Scrolls.
• At the Five Kage Summit, Deidara admitted mastering Dust Release but denied being Jizo, and the Kage agreed to search for Danzo and discuss Akatsuki and the remaining Jinchuriki.

Hyuga Kagami’s dangerous Academy exercise drew out Naruto’s power and exposed an Akatsuki infiltration, while Kagami also challenged the Hyuga Main Branch over Neji. The arc ended with Neji, Hinata, and Sasuke beginning a Senjutsu trial at Mount Myoboku.

• Hyuga Kagami sent the students into the Forest of Death for a deadly exercise, disguising Asuma, Kurenai, Hayate, and Yugao as Akatsuki members to test them.
• Sasuke fought the disguised Jonin, and Naruto, Neji, and the other students joined the battle to protect their companions.
• Naruto summoned Garaga, entered Sage Mode, and fought the Jonin before the Nine-Tails gave him a Tailed Beast cloak that he controlled.
• Obito and Zetsu infiltrated the forest, but Hyuga Kagami’s disguised God Organization clones frightened them into retreating after they found Deidara.
• After the exercise ended, Hyuga Kagami confronted the Main Branch elders for condemning Neji, sealed their chakra, and rejected their treatment of the Branch Family.
• Hyuga Kagami arranged for Neji and Hinata to visit Mount Myoboku, and Sasuke joined them after securing his father’s help.
• The Great Toad Sage recognized Sasuke as Indra Ōtsutsuki’s reincarnation, then Sage Fukasaku began testing all three children by teaching them to sense natural energy.
