Shin forced the shinobi nations to submit and established an empire, while his family and allies settled into their new lives. The arc ended with Naruto and Hinata waking in younger bodies, their consciousnesses apparently displaced from another world.

• Shin spared Nagato, Yahiko, and Jiraiya, but required Nagato to surrender his Rinnegan before Amegakure submitted to Konoha.
• Shin oversaw the construction of Brutal Justice, which forced Karatachi Yagura to attend the Five Kage Summit and destroyed the Mizukage Building and the Daimyo’s Palace.
• At the Five Kage Summit, Shin declared that every country would join one empire, killed Ōnoki after he attacked, and won the support of Pakura, Karatachi Yagura, and Killer B.
• Shin ordered the nations to submit, began integrating them under Konoha, and later enthroned himself as the one and only king beneath the heavens.
• Shin welcomed Yahiko, Nagato, and Konan into Konoha, while Natsu became part of Shin and Ayari’s family and Neji handled a dispute involving Katasuke and Daito.
• Shin visited Rin, and Obito continued pursuing her after Shin encouraged him not to give up.
• Naruto appeared in a younger body in Shin’s household, learned that he came from a parallel world, and then woke in his old classroom where Sasuke did not recognize him.
• Hinata woke in a younger body and told Shin she was thirty-two, and Shin explained that her consciousness came from a world where she and Naruto were married and that the possession should soon end.

Shin dealt with visitors from alternate worlds, separated the two Tsunades, and expanded his plans for the Sun Empire. After the Temple of Samsara drew in the Soul Society and Hollows began appearing, Mana and the Shinigami disputed who would protect the Living World and purify souls.

• Hinata returned to her world after seeing this world’s Neji, while Tsunade arrived from the future and learned how Konoha had changed.
• Tsunade chose to stay, and Shin marked Konoha’s residents with a soul-coordinate formula as he investigated visitors from other worlds.
• Sasuke arrived after killing Itachi in his world, learned about his counterpart’s future, and agreed to help Shin break the barrier between worlds.
• Shin crossed into parallel worlds and an unknown temporal destination, then arranged a cloned body so the visiting Tsunade and this world’s Tsunade could live separately.
• The two Tsunades reunited with Shizune and discussed Jiraiya’s fate, while the visiting Tsunade began working at Konoha Hospital.
• The Sage of Six Paths asked Shin to restore the path of reincarnation, and Shin established the Temple of Samsara to guide souls toward the Pure Land.
• Rukia arrived as Shin discovered the Soul Society had appeared in the Naruto world and disrupted reincarnation, causing Hollows to emerge.

The Sun Empire and Soul Society strengthened their ties as the Imperial Ninja Martial Arts Tournament brought Mei Terumi to Konoha and the Two Realms Exchange Meeting began. The exchange left the Ten Mianwei demonstrating their power, while Soi Fon and Anko Mitarashi prepared to fight next.

• Kyoraku and Yahiko reached an agreement between the Sun Empire and Soul Society, including cooperation against Hollows and a monthly supply of Zanpakuto or Asauchi.
• Shin appointed Mayuri Kurotsuchi to oversee relations with Soul Society, while Karatachi Yagura and Mei Terumi investigated growing pirate threats in Water Province.
• Shin expanded the Imperial Ninja Martial Arts Tournament, and Mei Terumi entered, defeated her opponents, and accepted a Sage Engraving that greatly increased her power.
• Shin and Tsunade arranged for Tsunade to gain more strength before the exchange meeting, and she trained with a Sage Engraving and the Body Forging Pod.
• Zhen and the Ten Mianwei entered Soul Society for the Two Realms Exchange Meeting, where Homura lost to Kyoraku and Guy defeated Kenpachi Zaraki.

Shin and his allies brought the pirates under the Empire’s authority by founding the Maritime Guild, while the Straw Hat Pirates became entangled in Konoha’s control. The arc left Robin and Nami living under Hancock’s roof and Naruto Tsunade seeking greater strength from Shin.

• Anko defeated Soi Fon, and Mei Terumi lost to Aizen before Itachi won the final sparring match against Toshiro Hitsugaya with Tsukuyomi.
• Shin proposed that Whitebeard lead a Maritime Guild, then the Straw Hat Pirates were captured in Water Province after Robin discovered the Empire’s Sunlight Tower.
• Crocodile helped free the prison’s captives and stole the Tenseigan Weapon, but Shin captured him and offered him leadership of the Maritime Guild.
• Shisui presented the Maritime Guild to pirates on Cursor Island, where Kaido fought the Cruiser Destroyer before Roger and Rocks appeared and Roger urged the pirates to join.
• Shin made the Four Emperors accept his rules, gained the Shichibukai’s allegiance, and persuaded Hancock to serve him after removing her Celestial Dragon brand.
• Shinichi kept Robin and Nami in Konoha, where Robin told the Straw Hats she wanted to leave their ship and live a stable life.
• Hancock struggled with her new household duties but apologized to Nami, while Robin and Nami settled into her courtyard.
• Shin defeated Naruto Tsunade in a sparring match through Guy, then offered to keep making her stronger, leaving her wondering what he wanted from her.
