Aside from the dull and boring History of Magic class, Hogwarts offered many other exciting courses.
For example, Professor Flitwick's Charms class.
"The most important thing for a wizard is levitation," said Professor Flitwick. He had a partial Goblin bloodline, was not tall, but possessed profound magical attainments. He had won numerous dueling championships in his youth. "Now, you have a feather in front of you. Take out your wands and follow my movements."
The young wizards in the classroom followed Professor Flitwick's movements, waving their wands at the feathers in front of them.
"Good, very good. Now, say after me: Wingardium Leviosa."
"Wingardium Leviosa," and nothing happened.
"Ron, it's Wingardium Leviosa, not Wingardium Leviosay," Hermione corrected Ron's pronunciation to her left.
"And you, stop sleeping. The professor is teaching Charms," Hermione said, looking at Horatio to her right. A frown appeared on his broad forehead.
Parvati Patil, sitting behind Hermione, said, "Hermione, you won't be able to wake him up like that. Let me try."
Then Parvati picked up her wand and poked Horatio's back. "Horatio, class is over, it's time to eat."
Horatio shot up instantly. "Time to eat? Come on, Harry, I'll take you to try authentic hot pot."
Immediately, he noticed everyone in the room staring at him and laughing with their mouths covered.
Horatio looked back at Parvati with a resentful gaze, then slapped his forehead. "I must still be dreaming. This is a nightmare."
Then he buried his head in his desk, playing ostrich.
"It seems Mr. Horatio finds my class boring." Professor Flitwick hopped off the platform and came to Horatio's desk. "Then, may I ask Mr. Horatio to demonstrate the levitation charm for us?"
Horatio looked at Flitwick with a strange expression. "Are you sure you want me to demonstrate? Aren't you afraid of crushing the confidence of these little wizards?"
Professor Flitwick chuckled. "It seems Mr. Horatio is very confident in his abilities. Come, everyone, turn your attention here. Classmate Horatio is going to teach us the levitation charm."
"Ahem, watch carefully, learn well." Horatio coughed and clapped his hands.
Immediately, the feather in front of him slowly floated up.
"???"
The young wizards in the room had question marks in their heads. What were we supposed to learn?
"Beautiful non-verbal, non-wand spellcasting. Gryffindor gets five points."
Horatio looked at Professor Flitwick with confusion. Was he serious?
"However, because Mr. Horatio was sleeping in class, Gryffindor loses five points."
Horatio breathed a sigh of relief. He almost got off easy with Professor McGonagall. Did she expect him to get points without any benefits?
Horatio looked smugly at Hermione. Hermione was so angry she gritted her teeth and waved her wand at the feather, saying, "Wingardium Leviosa."
The feather in front of Hermione also floated up slowly. Professor Fred saw this and said, "A standard levitation charm. Miss Hermione, you have earned one point for Gryffindor."
"Hmph!!" Hermione shot Horatio a glare.
"Tch!" Horatio whistled. As he whistled, his feather began to dart around the classroom like a swallow, weaving between the students.
Professor Flitwick watched Horatio's performance and excitedly applauded him.
Ron, seeing that all the young witches in the room, except Hermione, were looking at Horatio with admiration, said with dissatisfaction, "He really loves to show off."
Horatio heard him, said nothing, and took out a small notebook to record it.
If there was a professor at Hogwarts who liked Horatio the most, it would be Professor Sprout.
Perhaps it was ingrained in the souls of Chinese people, but Horatio's talent for farming was off the charts. Combined with his innate Herbology talent of 11 points, all sorts of plants obeyed his commands as if they were meeting their king.
Not only did Horatio drag Neville to help in Hogwarts' greenhouses every afternoon, but he also created a greenhouse system for Professor Sprout using Alchemy, complete with temperature control, sunlight adjustment, and automatic watering and fertilization.
Professor Sprout excitedly stated she wanted to give Gryffindor fifty points. Horatio said it wasn't necessary, just some seeds would suffice.
In the end, Professor Sprout found happiness, Horatio obtained various plant seeds, and only Professor McGonagall suffered in this world.
Afterward, Horatio found the old man (Dumbledore) to fulfill his promise of a piece of land. He finally chose a fertile plot of land near Hagrid's hut.
Dumbledore initially thought Horatio was up to something big again and secretly observed him for a few days. Upon discovering that he was genuinely farming and had even set up greenhouses, he patted Horatio's shoulder with relief, stating he would provide any help as long as Horatio honestly farmed.
Horatio considered it for a moment and proposed that he needed Neville as his house-elf to help him farm.
Thus, Dumbledore gained peace of mind, Horatio got a vegetable patch, and Neville got an opportunity to practice his Herbology lessons. A world where no one was harmed was achieved.
"Neville, what are you doing? You're as slow as a snail. Even the old wet nurses in the orphanage are quicker than you. Hurry up and plant that Biting Cabbage properly." Horatio shouted at Neville in his greenhouse while covering the planted Heartleaf seeds with plastic wrap.
"But this Biting Cabbage keeps biting me," Neville said pitifully, showing the scratches on his arm.
"What good are you? Forget it, let me do it." Horatio took the Biting Cabbage from Neville's hand.
"Look, why isn't it biting me? Setting aside the facts, if it bit you, isn't it at least partly your fault?" The Biting Cabbage in Horatio's hand was as docile as a puppy, begging for Horatio's touch.
"It's just a cabbage, is it necessary to be like this? Never mind, go add some Mooncalf dung to that Venomous Tentacula over there." Horatio planted the Biting Cabbage in a pot. "Hathor, keep an eye on him. Report to me if he slacks off."
Feeling the faint gaze from behind, Neville felt for the first time that some cats were more terrifying than Mrs. Norris.
After Horatio finished planting the Biting Cabbage, he sprinkled a circle of dragon manure compost around it, patted the cabbage head, and said, "You'll have to make do for now. Once I've mixed my Jin Ke La, I'll improve your diet."
"Meow!!!" Just as Horatio was contemplating how to mix the Jin Ke La, Hathor's meow interrupted him.
"What's wrong, Hathor? Is Neville slacking off? Damn it, if he were a different skin color, I'd guarantee I'd whip him soundly."
Horatio turned his head, saw Neville lying on the ground with a purple face, held his forehead, shook his head, and sighed, "Neville forgot his dragonhide gloves again. Does he think he's me?"
After lifting Neville with a levitation charm, he tied a rope around his ankle and, like pulling a balloon, dragged Neville to the school infirmary and found Madam Pomfrey.
"Poor child, is he poisoned? How did this happen?" Madam Pomfrey asked, looking at Neville's bruised and discolored face.
"It's nothing, just got bitten by a Venomous Tentacula."
"Alright, leave him to me. We have extensive experience treating Venomous Tentacula bites."
