The Hogwarts Express pulled into King's Cross Station's Platform 9¾.
The young wizards packed their belongings, disembarked the train, and, guided by a gaunt old guard, emerged from the wall in an orderly fashion.
Ron said to Harry, "You absolutely must come visit my place this summer. I'll send you an owl."
Horatio looked at Hermione with anticipation. "Hermione, I want to play with you."
Hermione looked speechless. "No, my family can't handle your antics."
Outside Platform 9¾, the Weasleys and the Grangers were already waiting. When they saw Harry's muscular physique, their jaws dropped in astonishment.
A little red-haired girl hid behind Mrs. Weasley, too afraid to come out. Ron and Hermione stepped forward to explain to the Weasley and Granger couples, respectively.
Then, the little red-haired girl glared at Horatio with a very angry look. Horatio found it amusing and made a face at her. She stomped her foot in anger and turned away, ignoring him.
If Horatio were to shed his penchant for causing trouble and his flippant attitude, he could easily be considered the most handsome boy at Hogwarts. Otherwise, why would Fleur, who was so particular about looks, like to hang out with him?
Mrs. Granger had initially liked the handsome young boy, but after Hermione pulled her aside and whispered a few words, her gaze towards Horatio became somewhat strange.
Horatio's radar went off. He knew instantly that Hermione was badmouthing him behind his back and immediately glared at her.
Hermione stuck her tongue out at him, turned, said goodbye to Ron and Harry, and then pulled the Grangers towards the station exit.
As she passed Horatio, Hermione still stopped, gave him a hug, and whispered in his ear, "Goodbye, Mr. Horatio. Remember to write to me." Then she left the station quickly, her face flushed.
On the train, Mr. Granger looked at his daughter, who was looking down with a flushed face, and asked, "Hermione, was that hairpin you put in your favorite display cabinet a gift from that boy?"
Hermione didn't speak, but nodded with a blushing face.
A murderous intent flashed in Mr. Granger's eyes. He felt that any pig trying to snatch his little cabbage needed to be dealt with severely. He decided he would go learn Muay Thai from his friend in Southeast Asia tomorrow and give that boy a surprise punch the next time he saw him.
After Hermione left, a middle-aged man, so fat he almost had no neck, but with a full beard, walked over. It was Harry's uncle, Vernon Dursley.
When he saw Harry's robust physique, he rubbed his eyes, slapped himself, and upon confirming it was real, felt his worldview crumble.
Horatio gave Harry a look, and Harry understood immediately. He took out the solid steel pipe Horatio had given him on the train and forcefully bent it into four pieces.
Vernon, watching the sturdy steel pipe being easily bent in half twice, was so scared he fell onto the ground and shouted, "Freak! You're just a freak!"
Horatio looked at Vernon rolling on the ground and frowned. This method was only treating the symptoms, not the root cause. He needed to find another solution.
He then walked out of the station and, in a secluded corner, released Nute, whom he had kept in an airline carrier on the train. He pressed a button on its saddle.
Nute returned to its original form and nudged Horatio's chest with its eagle head, venting its displeasure.
Horatio stroked its neck to comfort it, then mounted it. After turning invisible, he flew towards St. Maria's Orphanage.
Arriving at St. Maria's Orphanage, he met the long-lost Sister Marilyn.
"My God, it's really you, Ho, Horatio," Sister Marilyn exclaimed, pulling Horatio into a hug and stroking his cheek. "When you left with that old man without a word last time, you scared me half to death. Luckily, I found the letter you left behind, or I would have called the police. And thank you for the golden bed you left; it truly improved the orphanage's finances."
"How have you been at school?" Sister Marilyn asked.
"Very happy. I've made many friends at school, and they all revere me. If I tell them to go east, they wouldn't dare go west.
The professors also like me very much, especially our Headmistress. When I left school, she shed tears of joy, and the other professors beat gongs and drums to celebrate."
"???" Sister Marilyn heard something amiss and vaguely felt that Horatio might have been somewhat disliked at school.
Sister Marilyn dismissed the thought. "Come in quickly, your room is still saved for you."
"Speaking of which," Horatio expressed his desire to leave the orphanage to Sister Marilyn.
Sister Marilyn fell silent upon hearing this. After a long pause, she said, "I know you are a child with your own strong opinions. The moment you stepped into that world, I foresaw this day. We are, after all, people from two different worlds."
Sister Marilyn looked earnestly into Horatio's eyes. "I just want to ask one question: are you happy there?"
Horatio looked at Sister Marilyn and answered earnestly, "Happy, very happy."
Finally, Sister Marilyn agreed to Horatio's request to leave the orphanage and saw him to the entrance.
Before leaving, Horatio thought of something and asked Sister Marilyn, "Sister Marilyn, do you know anyone who works at the Gronning Company? I'd like to meet their boss."
If you can't find the book title, try searching for the author. Maybe they just changed their name!
The Gronning Company is a British company specializing in the production of drilling rigs. Its owner is named Wayne Stark.
Recently, he had been worried about the company's finances. Last year, his company's performance was poor, leading to tight cash flow this year. He had been rejected multiple times when applying for bank loans.
One day, he was on the phone with an old friend in his office, hoping the friend would lend him some money to help him through this difficult time.
After being rejected, he leaned back in his office chair, troubled. At that moment, a manager from his company found him, saying that a young master from a wealthy family was willing to invest in him.
Wayne Stark looked nervously at the young boy drinking tea opposite him. The boy was dressed in a suit that clearly cost a fortune, and his every move exuded elegance and nobility.
The young boy put down his teacup, gently stroked the black cat on his lap, and said, "I am Horatio Quibble, the heir to the Quibble Group. I heard your company is experiencing some financial difficulties recently, and I am interested in offering assistance."
Wayne Stark said excitedly, "Yes, Young Master Horatio, our company is currently facing a shortage of funds. How much funding can your company provide?"
"Money is not a problem," Horatio snapped his fingers. A tall bodyguard in a suit and sunglasses behind him stepped forward carrying a briefcase. "The key is, what can your company bring me?"
As the briefcase was opened, the sight of it filled with gold stunned Wayne Stark.
Finally, Wayne Stark and Horatio reached an agreement. Horatio acquired a ten percent stake in the Gronning Company.
Vernon Dursley had some good news recently. The director of his company was coming to visit his home, and he had to prepare well, as it concerned his future.
"Listen, this banquet is crucial for my job. If you dare to ruin it, you'll never be allowed out again for the rest of your life." Although Vernon was initially intimidated by Harry's physique, they had exploited Harry's kindness and made him do a lot of heavy labor.
On the day of the banquet, Frank, the supervisor from Gronning Company, arrived at the Dursleys' home, fawning over a well-dressed boy.
"You???" Vernon recognized Horatio, who had accompanied Harry that day, and replied in surprise.
"Director Frank, it seems I'm not welcome here," Horatio said, turning to Director Frank.
"How dare you, Vernon! This is Mr. Horatio Quibble, the third largest shareholder of the company. Show some respect!" Director Frank shouted at Vernon.
"Please, come in, please," Mr. Dursley quickly invited Horatio into their home.
Upon entering the living room, Horatio sat on the sofa and asked Harry's aunt, Petunia, "Excuse me, do you have any milk? My cat is a little hungry."
Petunia looked at the young boy with a noble air before her and replied fearfully, "Yes, please wait a moment."
After Petunia brought the milk, Horatio poured it into a small dish and fed Hathor.
"By the way, where is my classmate Harry? Why don't you invite him to join the dinner?" Horatio asked Vernon while feeding Hathor.
"Supervisor Frank, you should thank my classmate. It was through my classmate's family situation that I learned about your company and recognized its potential," Horatio said, turning to Frank beside him.
"Yes, yes, Vernon, quickly invite Master Horatio's classmate over," Frank commanded.
Vernon had no choice but to ask Dudley to fetch Harry.
Frank looked at Harry's large build and, suppressing his shock and fear, said, "Master Horatio, your classmate is rather... unique-looking."
"Well, he has to be strong to be worthy of being my follower," Horatio replied calmly, taking a sip of black tea.
Although Harry was surprised why Horatio would come to his aunt's house, he obediently followed Dudley to the living room.
During the banquet, Horatio's elegant conversation and extensive knowledge earned the respect of everyone present, except for Dudley and Harry.
Dudley couldn't understand what Horatio was talking about, while Harry doubted his own life, as Horatio's current demeanor was vastly different from how he was at Hogwarts.
Horatio stated that Fleur had forced him to learn it.
After the banquet, Horatio followed Harry to his room.
"How is it? Your aunt's family won't trouble you anymore, will they?"
Harry expressed his immense gratitude to Horatio.
"There's an old saying in the distant East: 'A drop of kindness should be repaid with a gushing spring.' " Horatio smiled and produced a contract. "Come, sign this indenture, as your repayment to me."
Harry remarked that this was more like Horatio's usual style and finally signed his name on the indenture.
As Harry's famous name was affixed, Horatio's house-elf, Unit 2, had its limited-time trial card officially upgraded to the permanent version.
