Background

In the Holy Grail World, Father appeared as the elderly priest Yanfeng Rizheng, a key figure connected to Ryudou Temple. Reincarnation Paradise converted him into a neutral character with fixed Friendly reputation, preventing both him and Su Xiao from harming, deceiving, threatening, or extorting the other. He provided Su Xiao with Holy Water and the damaged weapon Dawn War Cry while warning him of Ryudou Temple’s dangers. 655 656

Father had a personal connection to Xius, a Proxy who became a monster. He struggled to conceal his grief after Su Xiao killed her at Ryudou Temple. During the Holy Grail War, he also safeguarded Command Spells collected by the Church of the Holy Church, though they were stolen before his body began turning to dust. 681 702

By the time of the Sun Holy Land conflict, Father had become a Violator and had begun pursuing an Ancient God power system.
