Chi You, the Chaos Heart-Devouring Worm, licked his lips, excitement flashing in his eyes. "Master, can we devour to our hearts' content this time? Those Law Fragments and powerful Law Lifeforms would help me grow enormously."
"You can, but stay safe. Don't go too deep, and don't let your guard down."
Fang Chen cautioned them, "The Sea of Laws is fraught with danger. Even we aren't completely safe here."
"Understood!"
The Chaos Heart-Devouring Worm nodded vigorously.
Several days later, they reached the edge of the Sea of Laws once more.
Before them lay the same vast, deathly still gray-white sea. Solidified Law Fragments and dormant energy formed a viscous sediment in which countless enormous remains and shards of shattered Immortal Weapons rose and sank.
An oppressive, chaotic aura rushed toward them.
Fang Chen did not linger. He spread the Darkness Devouring God Domain around himself, drew the Floating Immortal Sword, and plunged straight in.
The myna bird, Chi You, and the Demon Star Vine followed close behind.
Once inside the Sea of Laws, Fang Chen had a clear destination: the area near the Primordial Barrier.
He knew that the closer they came to the Primordial Barrier, the more violent the Sea of Laws became—and the stronger the Law Lifeforms it spawned.
They pressed deeper, avoiding or casually clearing away the weaker Heavenly Slaves and Mutant Monsters they encountered. All the while, they followed the increasingly oppressive pressure of the barrier that Fang Chen sensed ahead.
The deeper they went, the darker the gray-white sediment became. Mottled shades of dark red, black, and purple-gold began to appear where deposits of different high-order Laws had mingled.
Space itself grew less stable. Tiny black holes silently blinked into existence and annihilated everything nearby, while bursts of Law Turbulence erupted without warning.
