Shiko Wu was slightly taken aback.

She looked up at MASKING's face, then lowered her head and turned around.

"What a pity." She murmured softly, "I'm actually the oldest of everyone here, but I've always... failed to fulfill my responsibility as a senior."

"No." MASKING's voice came from behind her. "At least Yukina-san trusts you very much. She said so herself."

Shiko turned around. MASKING saw the most sincere smile on her face since the first time they had met.

"That's good, then." She said that, then ran briskly toward CHU?'s room.

So cute. MASKING suddenly had that thought.

Her footsteps were so light.

This was the first time she had fought with such a happy heart... Though there wasn't actually any fighting.

There was nothing left to fear... No, no, what was she thinking?! Shiko slapped her cheeks and calmed down.

She had almost turned around and run away. What a frightening world. It seemed she had to give it her all and keep CHU? in a relatively safe place.

CHU?'s room was not far away. The sound of stomping on the floor and PAREO's slightly awkward consoling voice could be heard from inside.

She knocked on the door.

The room immediately fell silent. Two seconds later, CHU?'s voice came from inside. "Come in."

Shiko pressed down on the door handle and pushed the door open. PAREO came out to greet her. "Welcome~"

CHU? sat on the bed, looking sullen. She held a wineglass filled to the brim with dried beef in one hand. She stuffed all the dried beef into her mouth, chewing it down and swallowing it in two or three bites.

"If you're here to persuade me, Shiko Wu," she glared at Shiko, "No, thanks. I'm grateful for your help, but ultimately, our goals are different."
