Background / History

Ning Rongrong ran away from home and wandered until she heard of Shilaike Academy's monster-only admissions. Zhu Zhuqing recognized her and approached her outside the academy, setting in motion her connection to Supreme Academy 20.

Upon meeting Supreme Academy's dean, Jiang Yunzhou, Ning Rongrong became immediately infatuated with his appearance, strength, and interest in gold coins. She introduced herself by openly listing her age, enormous allowance, inheritance prospects, and family fortune. Jiang Yunzhou instead invited her to become his disciple; she accepted and completed the disciple-taking ceremony by offering him water 25.

As Jiang Yunzhou's second direct disciple, she received a Sword Grass Bracelet, a Martial Soul Advancement Pill, the Nine Revolutions Exquisite Path, and the Scroll of Supreme Induction. The pill evolved her Seven Treasures Exquisite Pagoda into the purple Nine Revolutions Exquisite Pagoda, giving her far greater potential and raising her Soul Power from Level 26 to Level 28 26 27.

She quickly became a central member of Supreme Academy. She publicly challenged Shilaike Academy, used her wealth to support the academy's daily needs, and attempted to persuade Xiao Wu to join Supreme Academy through shopping, gifts, and enthusiastic praise of Jiang Yunzhou 28 29 32. Her confidence in her own combat strength grew as she developed self-preservation, coordination, and offensive abilities beyond those normally expected of an auxiliary-type Soul Master 35 74.

Ning Fengzhi and Gu Rong sought her out after her evolved Martial Soul drew attention. Although her family initially found Supreme Academy's modest surroundings surprising, they recognized that she had grown stronger and more composed under Jiang Yunzhou's teaching. Ning Fengzhi later funded the construction of Supreme Academy in Tiandou City, nominally as Ning Rongrong's tuition fee 45 46 49 66.

During a later visit to the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, Ning Rongrong proudly displayed her evolved Martial Soul to Chen Xin and Gu Rong. She identified it as at least God-tier and incapable of further evolution, while Chen Xin recognized its overwhelming superiority to the Nine Treasures Glazed Tile Pagoda 139. Ning Rongrong is exceptionally blunt, confident, and expressive. Rather than hiding her wealth or feelings, she openly presented both to Jiang Yunzhou during their first meeting and consistently treats her financial resources as a means of supporting him and Supreme Academy 25 28.

She is playful, mischievous, and fond of teasing others, particularly Jiang Yunzhou. Her wealth allows her to be extremely generous: while trying to recruit Xiao Wu, she bought clothing, necessities, and other expensive items for both Xiao Wu and Zhu Zhuqing without hesitation 32.

Beneath her carefree behavior, Ning Rongrong is perceptive and ambitious. She recognized her lack of offensive options and actively asked to learn martial arts. Her cultivation methods also gave her unusual calmness, coordination, and strategic awareness, making her an effective commander rather than merely a rear-line supporter 35 74 86.
