Did everyone who hadn't joined the war deserve to be blamed, to take the fall?
That was complete nonsense—moral blackmail.
The only difference was that many people lacked the ability to stop it, while Ronglin had the ability but simply didn't want to.
"Madara!!!"
The Nine-Tails quickly arrived at its destination. The moment it saw Madara, its fur instinctively stood on end as it bared its fangs and let out a warning growl.
"Nine-Tails..."
Madara smiled faintly as he watched the Nine-Tails snarl at him. He raised his hand, holding up his index and middle fingers as though preparing to form a hand seal, immediately putting the Nine-Tails on guard.
"You're bullying my pet. Isn't that a little unfair? Looking to get your hide ripped off?"
Standing atop the Nine-Tails' head, Ronglin narrowed his eyes at Uchiha Madara. From the corner of his eye, he glanced at the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path shrouded in red light. The Ten-Tails' resurrection was drawing ever closer.
"Sorry, I couldn't help myself."
Uchiha Madara shook his head in apology. Behind him, Obito's eyes flashed with cold light at Ronglin's arrival, but Ronglin ignored him. He was merely a pitiful fellow—there was no need to care.
Let alone the fact that the Ten-Tails had yet to revive, so what if it did? A clown would still be a clown.
"Orochimaru, has your speculation been confirmed?"
To everyone's surprise, Ronglin suddenly looked toward Orochimaru.
"If it's about time, then he should be back."
"It'll take a little longer."
Orochimaru smiled faintly and began conversing with Ronglin.
It left Itachi, Kimimaro, and Tsunade somewhat stunned. What was going on?
Orochimaru was a rogue ninja. How could he just come back like that?
And what speculation?
Could there have been some negotiated reason behind Orochimaru's defection?
