Sanders said, "Now that the New Star Tournament is over, are you planning to discuss arrangements for leaving with me?"
Angel walked to the window. Through the spotless glass, he could see the manor below.
Gloria was training Toby, who had transformed into a griffin, while Shali stood with her eyes closed, sensing Toby's emotions and occasionally taking out a notebook to record them.
"It is indeed time to leave, but I'd like to stay a few more days and try letting Toby face the Extreme Grudge Intent," Angel said.
Sanders said, "Is that why you came to see me?"
Angel nodded.
"Yes," Sanders said flatly. "Although Lord Rhein hopes we can return sooner, according to Maya's prophecy, the ruins should remain stable for a while yet."
After a pause, Sanders asked, "You said you wanted Toby to face the Extreme Grudge Intent? Are you planning to have him enter the Heart House?"
"Yes. Based on some test reports I had Frod conduct, the Heart House should be effective on Toby. But the reason I intend to stay a few extra days is Shali."
Although the Water-Pattern Witch had allowed Angel to keep Shali in check, it would not be appropriate for him to take her out of Sky Mechanical City.
Therefore, he hoped that while they were still in Sky Mechanical City, he could use Shali's sensing ability to resolve Toby's matter as quickly as possible.
Sanders neither approved nor disapproved. What he most wanted to do now was study macroscopic and microscopic energy. Whether he studied it in Sky Mechanical City or returned to Savage Cave made little difference.
"You can decide Toby's matter yourself." Sanders paused. "However, I am rather interested in the Heart House research report you mentioned."
