Angel had previously said that the situation did not look optimistic, and he had guessed that Rosen might have suffered a calamity, but he had never expected the outcome to be so horrifying. Rosen, covered in alchemical tools and enhanced by machinery, with defenses second to none, had ended up like this.

"Is he dead?" Gloria hesitantly asked Angel.
Angel said nothing. He simply sat on the ground, took a piece of Secret Magic Gold from his bracelet, swiftly melted it into a supporting platform, then pulled out experimental tools and a magic pattern engraving pen, beginning to inscribe at high speed.
"I must disappoint Lady Barbie. I'm not dead yet," answered Rosen's head, which Angel held aloft with a Magic Hand.
"It's fortunate you aren't dead. If you had died and Director Muse had taken over Sky Mechanical City, I'm afraid it would have been difficult for me to buy ingredients I liked here next time." Gloria was clearly familiar with Rosen. There was no schadenfreude in her tone, only genuine relief.
