"Angel?" Liana was somewhat puzzled. Why had Fire Charm suddenly brought up Angel?
Fire Charm said, "I heard that when you left Sky Mechanical City before, you went to see Angel. Did he say then that he was going back to Savage Cave?"
Liana nodded. "Angel did say that at the time."
Fire Charm's eyes lit up. "Now that Sanders has returned to Savage Cave, does that mean Angel has come back too?"
After pondering for a moment, Liana shook her head. "I don't know about that. I haven't heard anything recently about Angel returning."
"Not hearing about it doesn't mean it didn't happen." Fire Charm said, "A few days ago, when Sanders returned, Lord Rhein also came back from the ruins for two days. If it had only been Sanders, I don't think Lord Rhein would have rushed back specifically for that. My guess is that Angel returned with him."
Angel was the true reason Lord Rhein had rushed back to Savage Cave. That was also what the vast majority of wizards suspected.
Knowing that Liana had seen Angel not long ago, Fire Charm had specifically come to inquire, hoping to learn some inside information.
"But Lord Rhein hasn't announced Angel's return, and there's been no movement from the Tree Spirit Lord either." Liana said, "Angel has advanced to become an official wizard and even joined the Research Institute. Based on past practice, there should at least be some banquet-like occasion for him to formally meet the other wizards."
Since there had been no movement from the Tree Spirit, perhaps Angel had not returned after all.
But Fire Charm did not see it that way. "We've all been wondering whether Angel's attitude is the problem."
His attitude was the problem? Liana turned Fire Charm's words over in her mind
