After synchronizing the intelligence with Gleipnir, Laplace looked at Angel.
Angel asked, "How far along is the Device Blank Factory now?"
"According to Gleipnir, your prototype molds have already been distributed," Laplace said. "Eya used a special ability to teleport them directly to the various races, so their factories should all have begun operating."
"The Crystal-Eyed Race's Device Blank Factory was probably the first to start up. But they should only be doing preliminary work for now—replicating molds, analyzing prototypes, purchasing materials... It will probably still be some time before actual production begins."
Angel nodded in understanding. "The progress is faster than I expected."
Laplace said blandly, "After all, this concerns their survival. They would not dare treat it lightly."
"It truly cannot be taken lightly when survival is at stake. But I'm still worried. What if it doesn't work... What if we can't enter the Dream Crystal Plain during the Disaster of Disorder?" A trace of concern showed in Angel's eyes.
Laplace set down her teacup. The crisp sound of its base touching the tabletop interrupted Angel's train of thought.
"I already told you before," Laplace said. "Even if it does not work, the Dream Crystal Plain will still be a fallback path to save them."
Under the threat of the apocalypse, not everyone was qualified to flee to the outer realms.
