Angel examined the Earth Mark Little Yinba had given him and searched among Dangros’s elemental sprites for a suitable companion. After Fesipanrui arrived to manage the sprites and demonstrate their abilities, Angel noticed it sending a message toward Demonfire Midir and suspected it had reported his intentions.

• Angel learned that Little Yinba’s Earth Mark carried its aura, could help him with Little Yinba’s friends, and would last for at most three months.
• Fesipanrui arrived and explained that Dangros had sent it to help manage the elemental sprites while Demonfire Midir remained in seclusion.
• Angel asked Fesipanrui to have the sprites demonstrate their innate abilities so he could find a suitable elemental companion.
• Angel considered the poisonfire toad’s powerful Poisonflame Marsh ability but let it go because he preferred an auxiliary companion to another fighter.
• After nightfall, Ermi showed Angel an image of Fesipanrui sending sparks toward the volcano crater, and Angel suspected it was reporting his search to Demonfire Midir.

Angel investigated activity in the Dream Wilderness, learned that two members of the Origin-Worshiping Clan had seen the same vision of a glowing road, and found that no elemental sprites had arrived. He let Fesipanrui leave the cave to investigate, suspecting Demonfire Midir had kept the fire-element creatures away.

• Angel entered the Dream Wilderness, visited Xibila's tailor shop, and learned that Serum had joined the New Star Tournament, disappeared afterward, and might return to Savage Cave for help with his Hell Codex.
• Angel met Dodolo and the Tree Spirit at the provisional city hall; Dodolo told him that he had seen the same vision of Angel walking through darkness toward a glowing road that Sparrow Sparrow had described.
• The Tree Spirit told Angel that the Dream Wilderness's development was progressing, while Sanders had not logged in recently; Angel arranged for the Authority Tree to notify him when Sanders returned.

• Keluo Keluo reported that it had gathered Dangros’s underlings, and Angel persuaded it to stay at Illusion Cottage so they could discuss its talent.
• Angel sent Keluo Keluo back to the Lava Lake each evening and gradually worked to ease its wariness over the next two days.
• Phoenix came looking for Ermi, but Angel convinced it to leave; Duroche watched Angel from the Lava Lake without attacking.
• Fesipanrui invited Angel to meet Demonfire Midir, and Angel flew to the volcano crater on Toby’s back.

After watching the boxes, Ma Gu recognized the purpose of Feng and Kalomengqisi’s actions and praised Feng for securing the elemental beings years of respite.

• Angel told Demonfire Midir that the Tidal Realm and the Wizarding World had fused, and explained the gateway’s connection to the world-ending calamity.
• Demonfire Midir asked to learn about humanity, so Angel gave it the Drama Shadow Box “Humanity and Civilization” and then created “The World of Wizards” to explain wizard society, customs, and power.

• Posia asked Angel to take Luojia to the Toothpull Desert, where Luojia’s connection to Kubo could help him meet the sage, and Angel agreed.
• Posia explained that he and Prince Fallen Earth planned to consult Sage Ma Gu before deciding how to respond to the coming opening of the Tidal Realm gateway.

On the way out, Angel visited the Dream Wilderness and found Frod getting help from Iron Armor Granny through Tree Chat while monitoring Yada and Sunny’s cultivation.

• Kubo explained that Sandstorm Sandstorm’s paranoia and restrictions stemmed from illness, and advised Angel to leave the ruler’s introduction to him.
• Kubo told Angel that he supported cooperation with humans and would try to persuade Sandstorm Sandstorm to meet Ma Gu; Angel then said goodbye to Kubo and Luojia.
• Angel departed the Toothpull Desert with a Sand Eagle escort, carrying away only an unfamiliar emblem of a seven-stringed harp on rippling waves as a possible clue from the palace.

• Iron Armor Granny explained that the Elegant Sect was a faith-based group distinct from the true path of miracles, and Angel left the library after speaking with her and Jon.
• Angel sensed Sanders enter the Dream Wilderness and admitted Flora and Su Mishi through the Dream Gate, placing their arrival near Sanders.
• Angel asked Dangros about Greenwild Plains and learned that Proliferation Greme ruled it, while its alliance with White Cloud Township kept it safe from invasion.

• Sand Eagle defeated and captured Little Whirlwind, and Angel saw that the intruder was a young elemental spirit.
• Sand Eagle asked Angel to watch Little Whirlwind while it sought Kubo's guidance, and Dangros burned its finger by touching the sand cage before Angel removed the sand with frequency vibration.
• Little Whirlwind woke, tried to escape, and burst into tears as Angel explained crying to Dangros through a Nightmare Illusion.
• Sand Eagle returned with Kubo's decision that Angel should escort Little Whirlwind to White Cloud Township and hand it over to Gentle Wind.
• Little Whirlwind protested that it did not want to go home, but Sand Eagle threatened it with fifty years in Quicksand Prison and chose to send it back.
