• Serena reported that nobody had died, though the battle had cost Umbrella forty-five billion dollars in ammunition, and William ordered her to keep monitoring the situation and alert the military leaders and United Nations fleet.
• William visited Dr. Halsey’s laboratory, where she explained that Athena absorbed energy, could create a barrier and enlarge herself, and had nanoscale biological robots that protected her from harmful microorganisms.

• Rebecca tried to chat with Li Mu in the lounge, but he gave brief replies until a station broadcast called security personnel to assemble.
• Director Sand ordered Team One to rescue an exploration team stranded southwest of the station before the blizzard arrived.
• Bor and Team One found the exploration team and agreed to transfer its important biological samples, including an enormous half-ice block, onto the rescue vehicles.

Researchers at the Antarctic Research Station debated taking a tissue sample from the strange creature frozen in an ice block, while Rebecca worried it might be dangerous. After Li Mu revealed that the station had lost communications and an artificial structure had been found nearby, the creature broke free of the ice.

• Rebecca warned Dr. Sand that the asymmetrical creature might harbor a virus, but he ordered the researchers to prepare to extract a sample.

• Li Mu and Rebecca found the research area littered with the remains of Team Two and concluded that the creatures had gained the team’s trust before killing them.
• Rebecca explained that Nanite Serum could destroy the creatures as soon as they entered the body, and Li Mu and Rebecca injected themselves.
