Cypher had originally planned to send Cassandra back to the Room of Requirement first, then return to the Ravenclaw common room to see what the situation was like.
But just as they stepped out of the bathroom,
Iris and Luna came to meet them.
They even brought them to the Great Hall.
Looking at the lively scene before him,
Cypher could not help wondering whether someone had put a Time-Turner around him.
Less than an hour ago, most of the young wizards before him had looked like the living dead, and the entire atmosphere at Hogwarts had been shrouded in oppressive gloom.
Yet now, everyone happily clinked glasses, threw their arms around one another's shoulders, and sang together. Someone had even jumped onto a dining table and performed a tap dance for the crowd...
Cypher was dragged along by Iris in a daze until they sat down at an empty table.
Only then did Cypher come back to his senses.

Cassandra, on the other hand, calmly ordered a steak before listening as Iris and Luna took turns explaining what had happened.

they encountered Professor Dumbledore above the castle, brought back to Hogwarts by the phoenix Fawkes.
Dumbledore said that tonight was the perfect time to cast the net.
