In the stands of the Quidditch Pitch.
Two figures who were clearly not young wizards faced the center of the pitch, sitting on separate sofas angled slightly toward each other as they watched the match below.
They were Dumbledore and Nicolas Flamel.
After emerging from seclusion, Dumbledore found young wizards streaming toward the Quidditch Pitch in groups.
He happened to want to see how the school had been functioning during his seclusion.
So he dragged the homebody Nicolas here.
"Whoa, Nicolas! Your invention is absolutely amazing!"
At first, Dumbledore was like a child, wriggling about in his seat and occasionally raising both hands with the young wizards around him to cheer.
Nicolas was chuckling happily beside him. After all, joy was contagious.
Though it was called the Quidditch Pitch, it had now been converted into a multifunctional competition venue.
Nicolas Flamel was a wizard who had studied alchemy for centuries.
His mastery of alchemy might even surpass that of Rowena Ravenclaw, one of Hogwarts' founders.
With the permissions Dumbledore had shared with him, he easily fulfilled and refined the suggestions Iris and the other two had made.
He transformed the Quidditch Pitch, giving the young wizards enough space and activities to vent their energy and redirect their attention.
A husky left at home every day would tear the place apart, but a husky that ran alongside an athlete would practically beg its owner to carry it while running!
The Quidditch Pitch was modeled after the Room of Requirement, though its functions were limited to providing activity venues.
There was a control console on a raised platform beside the pitch.
All they had to do was use a wand to select the venue they wanted.
There were Quidditch match fields, dueling platforms, and other little games for competing in spell proficiency.
