After Ji Man killed Juliusun and Manjushri, the Primordial World suspected Tongtian’s faction had regained its strength, while Amitabha Buddha prepared to challenge him.

• The Twenty Heavens joined Tongtian’s Interception Sect, and the Nineteen Heavens attained the Quasi-Saint realm as the Western Teachings’ authority weakened.
• Tongtian restored the Three Sovereigns’ Saintly Bodies and helped them survive their Saint tribulations in Guixu.
• Tongtian reincarnated as Ji Man, became Crown Prince of Great Zhou, and exposed corruption at the Orphanage before forming and training the Eastern Palace Guard.

In the years that followed, the Interception Sect expanded into the Infinite World while Queen Mother of the West and Ji Feng joined its community and prepared to defend Western Kunlun.

• Tongtian helped Xiao Zan attain sainthood, but Xiao Zan and the other leaders who entered Guixu remained missing after its entrance closed.
• Tongtian became master of the Slaughter Dao, learned Demon Ancestor Luohu had taken King Zhou Zhao’s primordial spirit, and discovered that the Primordial World was nearing collapse.
• Tongtian and Queen Mother of the West considered ways to save the Primordial World, while she reached the ninth level of the Primordial Grand Unity Golden Immortal realm.
• Tongtian took Chang'e and Tianqiong into Guixu, where they saw the battle between the Primordial World’s forces and the Infinite World’s powerhouses.

He later expanded his alliances and took Fire Cloud Saintess and Blood Flame Dao Venerable as cultivation partners, while Ji Feng’s battle at Western Kunlun turned against him.

• After a hundred years, the Five-Colored Stone produced a golden monkey who became the Handsome Monkey King and sought immortality.
• Old Ancestor Bodhi accepted the Handsome Monkey King and named him Sun Wukong, while agreeing with Tongtian to activate the Nameless Great Formation.
• Tongtian created Vast Land and gathered one billion people, then joined Old Ancestor Bodhi in using their copied primordial spirits to suppress the Primordial World’s life-forms.

After securing Orange Isle and developing the Pillar of Heaven World, Tongtian chose to continue the plan and supported Di Xin’s transfer of the Human Realm to the Congruent Dao.

• Tongtian restored Ji Feng’s fallen brothers, then learned that the war between the Fire God Temple and the Desolate People had depleted the Infinite World and provoked harsher rules from its Great Dao.
• Tongtian investigated the plot around Chaoge, copied Old Ancestor Bodhi’s memories, and learned that a thirteen-person alliance planned to extract the city and seize its citizens’ primordial spirits.
• Tongtian discovered Su Ji was Ji Su’s incarnation and took her as his disciple, while Demon Ancestor Luohu explained the plan to deceive the Great Dao with a fabricated Primordial World.
