Sect Master Tongtian pursued the Demon God Lantern with Demon Ancestor Luohu, confronted Zhu Jiuyin, and entered a thousand-year dream as Tian Zheng Yi. The dream left him traveling with his mother and younger brother after killing his father’s murderer, while a statue of Tianhai stirred a troubling recognition.

• Sect Master Tongtian and Heartless Dao Venerable captured a moment from history, hid it beneath a northern glacier, and activated the Great Array of Stealing Heaven and Changing Sun.
• Thirty years later, Tongtian helped Nanhuang Jiu accept Guan Xinshui’s broken engagement and agreed to repair the Nanhuang Family’s ancestral formations.
• Tongtian healed Demon Ancestor Luohu at Buzhou Mountain, then accompanied him to the Demon Realm to pursue the Demon God Lantern and help protect Long Yuan and Bai Suzhen’s child.
• In the Demon Capital, Tongtian investigated the Nine-Headed Demon Snake and recognized it as Zhu Jiuyin when it emerged from Yunmeng Marsh.
• Tongtian created another Zhu Jiuyin, which swallowed the original, and read the creature’s memories before returning to the Demon Capital with Luohu.

Tian Zheng Yi escaped the Sacred Cult, uncovered the schemes within the Zhu family, and rose to prominence as an alchemist in Purple Qi Coming East. After finding Ji Xia and secretly raising his strength, he learned that Spacetime Rifts were bringing lifeless beings from the future and watched the sect send teams to investigate.

• Sect Master Tongtian fled the ruined temple with Lady Tian while Tian Zheng'er joined the Sacred Cult, then traveled with her to Youzhou and reunited with Lan Xiao Se.
• At Ciyun Temple, Tian Zheng Yi broke through to the Spirit Condensation Realm, exposed a fraudulent monk, gained Shan Hai and Chen Tang as masters, and shattered the Buddha statues during a confrontation.
• After reaching True Immortal-level cultivation in seclusion, Sect Master Tongtian uncovered possession and murder within Zhu Manor, defeated Zhu Tian and Zhu Jiuyin, and exposed Zhu Yunluo's possession of Second Miss Zhu.

Sect Master Tongtian crossed a ruined monster realm, reunited with Demon Ancestor Luohu, and entered the trials for the Demon God Lantern. After winning the trials and reaching Demon God Mountain, he received a Ruyi Flying Shuttle and considered the hidden alliances behind the Journey to the West.

• Sect Master Tongtian sealed most of the Spacetime Rifts, left Purple Qi Coming East with Heartless Dao Lord, and traveled through a vortex back to the day he had departed.
• Sect Master Tongtian entered the ancient temple, overcame the monsters and trials beneath it, and found Demon Ancestor Luohu amid a conflict between counterfeit selves.
• Sect Master Tongtian and Demon Ancestor Luohu defeated the Goddess's attackers, then set out for the Demon God Lantern trials and freed two captive girls along the way.
