Dai Mubai is a prince of the Star Luo Empire who left home and joined Shrek Academy. His older brother, Dai Weisi, remains his principal rival in the struggle surrounding the Star Luo throne; Dai Weisi and Zhu Zhuqing’s sister, Zhu Zhu Yun, treat the pair as rivals who should be eliminated. 128 272

At Suotuo Grand Soul Arena, Dai Mubai approaches the masked Han Yuchen—then using the name Chen Xing—after witnessing his ten-match winning streak. He offers him a place on his team because Shrek “only recruit[s] monsters,” but Han Yuchen refuses and suppresses Dai Mubai’s Soul Power before he can attack. 50

Dai Mubai later encounters Han Yuchen again in the Curio Pavilion, this time disguised as a frail child.
