Background / History

Lucifer originally came from Earth before becoming a god and later rising to become the second-in-command of the Heavenly Court of Light. As his strength grew, the Lord of the Divine Court persecuted him. Lucifer resisted alongside his subordinates but was temporarily defeated due to the Lord's superior preparations and foundations. 1 72

After escaping through a spatial rift, Lucifer arrived near Douluo Continent as a black soul body accompanied by a damaged cracked-version System. The System had been infected by a pollution virus and required fifty years to repair itself, prompting Lucifer to seek a suitable body in which to wait and recover. 1

During Qian Renxue's Martial Soul awakening, Lucifer attached himself to her as an independent Second Spirit: the Fallen Angel. He chose her because her exceptional angelic talent and young, undeveloped body made her an ideal vessel for his future reincarnation. 3 4

Lucifer's immediate objective is not simply possession. His planned reincarnation would overwrite Qian Renxue's bodily data with the data contained in his own power, allowing him a complete rebirth once her body becomes sufficiently strong to survive the process. 15 32

The Lord of the Divine Court continues to threaten Lucifer indirectly through a Worldline Gravitator, which pulls the altered Douluo Worldline back toward its original course in an attempt to erase Lucifer at the worldline level. Lucifer counters by creating deviations and changing key figures' fates. 5 70

In his manifested Fallen Angel form, Lucifer resembles a pale, sharp-featured male angel clad in dark regalia. When he possesses Qian Renxue, her voice becomes masculine and her eyes change into his signature heterochromia. 3 15

Personality

Lucifer is supremely arrogant, speaking to Titled Douluo and major sect leaders as inferiors. He refuses to prove his claims, openly calls others frogs at the bottom of a well, and expects to be addressed as “Lord Lucifer.” 4 9 32

He is calculating rather than impulsive. Lucifer treats Bibi Dong, Qian Xunjie, and Qian Daoliu as pieces to influence Qian Renxue's eventual descent into darkness, and he uses changes to the worldline as a strategic defense against the Lord of the Divine Court. 62 70

Despite his ruthless methods, Lucifer avoids needlessly damaging Qian Renxue before she is fit to become his vessel. He chooses a gentler possession when possible, covers her with a blanket during a nightmare, and considers her body's limits before escalating his power. 9 15 16
