Qian Xunjie personally conducts Qian Renxue's Martial Soul awakening on her sixth birthday. As Pope, he is frequently occupied with Martial Soul Hall affairs, leaving much of Qian Renxue's upbringing to his father, Qian Daoliu. He nevertheless takes pride in her inheritance of the Six-Winged Angel Martial Soul and her innate level-20 Soul Power. 1 7

When Lucifer enters Qian Renxue's body and manifests as her Fallen Angel second Martial Soul, Qian Xunjie initially celebrates her Twin Martial Souls. After learning that the Fallen Angel's power may erode the Angel heir's will, he accepts the danger but seeks ways to exploit its potential, including proposing that another Twin Martial Soul master test the cultivation risks first. 3

He informs Bibi Dong of Qian Renxue's awakening and attempts to maintain a gentle manner around both mother and daughter. When Lucifer exposes Bibi Dong's rejection of Qian Renxue, Qian Xunjie tries to shield his daughter from the truth, but his intervention contributes to her emotional collapse and Lucifer's possession. 10 14 18

After Lucifer's abilities prove useful, Qian Xunjie increasingly accommodates him despite their mutual hostility. He publicizes the Blue Silver Transformation Technique under Martial Soul Hall's name and negotiates its distribution for an exorbitant price, using the discovery to enhance the Hall's prestige and his own standing. 41 59

Qian Xunjie accompanies Qian Renxue to obtain her third Soul Ring, where his conflict with Tang Xiao escalates into open combat. Suspicious of Ah Rou's resemblance to Bibi Dong and her connection to Qian Renxue, Qian Xunjie organizes a covert investigation. He orders Yue Guan and Gui Mei to capture Ah Rou without harming her, then has her confined in a secret chamber. Her imprisonment ultimately deepens Qian Renxue's hatred toward him and the Qian family. 98 99 101 109

When Qian Renxue is consumed by her Inner Demon, Qian Xunjie is unable to stop her directly. Following Lucifer's suggestion, he willingly allows her to stab him in the hope that his blood and remorse will reduce her hatred. 111 112

Years later, he attempts to secretly coach Martial Soul Hall Academy against the disguised Qian Renxue. Qian Daoliu exposes the deception, further damaging Qian Renxue's already diminished regard for her father. 158
