Ma Qiu’s arrival at the Magistrate Tribunal drew him and Tang Na into a confrontation between Shalin and the Judgment Tribunal, while Nora exposed Tang Na’s hidden identity. As Xia Ya sent troops toward Atlantis City, Soren hesitated and Xia Zuo’s force was ambushed inside Shalin.

• Ma Qiu received Tang Na in Atlantis City and took her shopping, where they witnessed the Judgment Tribunal trying to seize Eric and clashing with Lecturer Bo Wen.
• At the Magistrate Tribunal, Judge Adam sentenced Eric and the four Tribunal men, but Ke En intervened and fought Lei An before Molly arrived and killed Ke En.
• Molly met Richard, who had captured a Level 4 Arbiter, then investigated Nora’s use of a Mental Spell on Ma Qiu.
• Nora confronted Tang Na about her identities and offered her university protection in exchange for talent and research work.
• Soren received repeated orders to send troops into Shalin, but warned Yu Le that the campaign risked disaster and that his forces were committed elsewhere.
• Axel Shazo set out from Reef Rock Fortress with five hundred elite troops, and Xia Zuo led them into Shalin toward Atlantis City.
• After Xia Zuo’s soldiers attacked Shalin sentries, black metal spheres exploded among his force, and more than a thousand cavalrymen surrounded the survivors.

Richard captured a High Spirit, developed a star-positioning weapon, and returned to Xia Ya to meet the Alliance Emperor. The meeting became an ambush, and Richard survived Red Moon’s attempt to kill him after defeating the Emperor’s Wizards.

• Xia Zuo tried to negotiate with Shalin’s black-armored cavalry, but they killed his soldiers and beheaded him before Wizard Nora disposed of the bodies.
• Soren raised Reef Rock Fortress’s alert after learning of Xia Zuo’s death, while Yu Le warned that Wizard Ford might be infected with the Poison Heart Queen’s spell plague.
• Richard explained to Molly how his research had produced Spirits and led him to believe that powerful Void Spirits lived in overlapping dimensions.
• Molly received Cyril Sack’s delegation and kept them waiting, while Richard and Emerson’s team opened a Space Hole and lured out the Energy Octopus.
• Richard trapped the High Spirit in one of his bodies and secured a month of cooperation, then ordered Emerson to share the Ninth Research Project’s results with Institute 361.

Richard killed Red Moon and Bailun, then Shalin defeated the Alliance’s invasion and unleashed the Black Sun Project. Three years later, as famine drove people toward Shalin’s expanding cities, Ma Qiu began an intelligence mission while Philip and Little Jimmy entered a strange vehicle bound for City 11.

• Richard killed Red Moon with a void-charged punch, then killed Bailun and declared that he would destroy the Alliance rather than inherit it.
• Frank Dice’s regiment was routed by Shalin’s Black Riders, and Soren led the Alliance campaign against Shalin despite the growing losses.
• Shalin’s attacks and collapsed mountain passes trapped Soren’s central army, but he escaped through the Bewildering Mountain Range and captured Mis City.
• Richard declared the Green Source Project successful, sent surrender demands across the continent, and ordered the Black Sun attack.
• Black Sun weapons struck across the continent and spread powder through the atmosphere, plunging the land into darkness and ending the invading armies’ advance.

Philip and the locomotive crew were drawn into the Gray Parrot Enhanced Regiment’s desperate defense against a massive wave of strange creatures. Richard arrived to stop the assault, destroy the Demiplane, and turn his attention toward Heaven.

• Philip and Jimmy entered Red Stone City, where Tang Na arranged for Jimmy to attend the Ninth Technical Academy and Philip to work on a locomotive.
• Philip and the locomotive crew collected factory cargo, then endured repeated attacks by strange rats before reaching the Gray Parrot Enhanced Regiment’s garrison.
• Bob, Philip, and Frank volunteered to help the regiment, and they fought alongside its soldiers through successive waves of strange creatures.
• After the Gray Parrot Enhanced Regiment’s defenses nearly collapsed, Shalin’s reinforcements arrived and the Black Riders and Storm Airship Troops destroyed the attacking horde.
• Pandora ordered the Wall-Breaking Squad to breach an unstable Demiplane, and Black Sun Castle launched the Suicide Ivan weapon through the opening.
• Richard appeared and destroyed a Giant Stone Statue, then interrupted Burning Wind’s attempt to open the True God Seal.
• Richard froze Burning Wind and the charging creatures, then brought the Lich Old Man to investigate Burning Wind’s protected memories.
• Richard scattered Black Sun Weapons through the Demiplane, ordered the Storm Airships to seal its opening, and watched it detach before declaring that Heaven was next.
