Richard destroyed the mysterious organization’s underground base, but its leader retaliated by destroying White Stone City. Richard and Pandora headed north by ship, where a fortune-telling woman’s warnings and strange events began to trouble the voyage.

• Wa Xi Li and Somen attacked Pandora, but Richard arrived, killed Somen, shattered Wa Xi Li’s body, and drove the surviving Vampire Bats away.
• Richard infiltrated the mysterious organization’s underground base and destroyed it with a Destruction Pearl, while Wa Xi Li escaped and reported the attack to Ji Bo Lun.
• Long Mei Er revealed that Ji Bo Lun and his subordinates had died, then summoned a flaming meteor that destroyed White Stone City as Richard and Pandora fled.
• At Guevara Tavern, Richard met a masked fortune-teller who used Fate Cards to warn him against sailing and promised him misfortune.
• Richard taught Pandora the Nine-Nine Table, while a tiny Semi-Demonized Creature repeatedly knocked on their door and was captured by Richard.
• Richard bought tickets for the Naru Glory Fisherman, but the fortune-teller followed them and Bart tried to force the ship back before killing himself.
• Captain Morgan ordered the crew to treat Bart’s death as madness, and Richard entered Eden Garden with Pandora to conduct research during the voyage.
• Richard planned improvements to his medicines and Reaction Shield, then returned to the deck and watched Captain Morgan punish Jack over food that had made sailors ill.

Richard followed the Ghost Ship to Undead Island, killed the fortune-telling woman and the Necromancer, and rescued Captain Morgan’s crew. He uncovered the Necromancer’s research and Black Spirit Empire records, then upgraded Eden Garden’s power system before preparing to travel to Moore.

• Jack returned to the Naru Glory Fisherman, led a mutiny, and killed Sailor Paul, but Captain Morgan’s loyal sailors soon regained control of the ship.
• A Ghost Ship pursued the Naru Glory Fisherman, which ran aground and was attacked by Stitched Monsters, and the monsters captured the passengers and sank the ship.
• Richard followed the captives to Undead Island, studied the Stitched Monsters, and killed the fortune-telling woman when she tried to attack him.
• Richard defeated the Stitched Monsters and the Necromancer, then freed Captain Morgan, Williams, Tomya, and the other prisoners from the cave.
• Richard studied the Necromancer’s research, uncovered Defoe’s diaries and a hidden hall of Black Spirit Empire scrolls, and packed its contents into Eden Garden.
• Richard built a layered Fourth Form Shield and created the Blood of the Gods (Intermediate) · Evil God's Power potion, then powered Eden Garden with generators using heat from the Crystal Walls.
• Richard tested Eden Garden’s simulated day-and-night lighting and left to restock supplies and answer Hai Di’s letters before traveling to Moore, and Pandora overloaded the lights, and Richard smacked her when he returned.

Richard traveled north through the Black Saint Mountain Kingdom, where he fought for Princess Ruth in a contest against the Rob Kingdom. After winning access to the royal library, he overcame an illusion and searched its books for the Black Spirit King's secret before leaving the kingdom.

• Richard learned that war had blockaded the northern sea routes and joined Bade’s merchant caravan to travel north by land.
• Bandits ambushed the caravan, and Richard strengthened Harvey with the Blood of the Gods before Royal Guard cavalry arrived and rescued the survivors.
• Richard met Princess Ruth and learned that Macbeth and many others had survived the meteor strike, though the disaster had killed or injured much of the White Stone Tower’s staff.
• Ruth asked Richard to represent her against a Level 3 Wizard Apprentice from the Rob Kingdom, and he agreed in exchange for access to the royal libraries.
• Richard defeated Kai Li when his Fireball Spell triggered Richard’s Spell Salt and exploded, then demanded the promised access to the king’s private library.
• Richard searched the library for information about the Black Spirit King’s Secret and resisted an illusion created by its administrator, restoring himself after it appeared to mutilate and poison him.
• Richard broke the illusion, read the books on the golden bookshelf through the night, and left the palace with Ruth the next morning.
• Richard told Ruth he had found what he wanted and planned to leave, while Ruth later decided to sneak her novel out of the library.

Richard passed the Joker’s trials in the Mind World and received a White Raven’s Feather before continuing his search for Hai Di. At the castle, he found her letter, uncovered a village chief’s deception, and learned that Hai Di and the others had traveled west toward Floren.

• The Joker tested Richard through philosophical discussions, games, and a staged theft, then revealed that Richard had passed and allowed him to investigate the Black Spirit Empire’s secrets.
• The Joker vanished with the Mind World, leaving Richard to question whether the circus and his experiences had been real before he reunited with Captain Bade’s merchant group.
• Richard sailed to Moore Port, traveled to Hai Di’s castle, and used the White Feather to dispel an illusion and find her hidden letter.
• Richard read Hai Di’s message, then followed an old man to A Lu Ba Ke Village, where the village chief tried to misdirect him about the castle.
• Richard fought the chief, destroyed his black-mist attack with the White Feather, and survived the man’s self-destruction.
• The freed villagers told Richard that the old man had enslaved them for about three years and that Hai Di and the castle’s other residents had left by carriage for Floren.
