"Albus, something very strange just happened."
In Dumbledore's office, Dumbledore had barely seen Moody and the others off and had not yet gone to bed when Snape knocked on his door in the middle of the night.
"While you and Moody were dealing with our Professor Quirrell, I noticed Harry was in terrible pain..."
Snape briefly described what had happened.
"I suspect your attack on the Dark Lord was so powerful that it triggered some unknown curse on Harry. He may have been trying to use it to come back to life."
"Is that so? Just as I thought..."
He seemed about to say more, but in the end, he kept his suspicions to himself.
"I need more evidence. You've done a great deal tonight, Severus. Now you should get some rest."

In the Ravenclaw common room, Andrew woke first, as usual. He stretched at length without disturbing anyone else.
He washed up quietly, eased the door shut behind him, and headed out of the Castle. It rained more at Hogwarts than he had expected, and a day this fine was rare.
