Background

Lin Xuan was already Tongtian's disciple when Tongtian achieved sainthood and founded the Intercepting Sect. Believing the coming Witch–Demon and Investiture of the Gods tribulations would destroy an underprepared cultivator, he chose seclusion until reaching the Quasi-Sage realm. His Seclusion System rewarded him with the Nine Revolutions of Chaos Undying Heavenly Art, Pangu-related inheritances, and powerful spiritual treasures. 1

His seclusion ultimately lasted one million years. Upon emerging as an Early Stage Quasi-Saint, he found the Three Sisters of Sanxiao confronting Saint-level oppression over Zhao Gongming's fall, prompting him to intervene rather than resume isolation. 2 5

Later revelations establish that Lin Xuan is a transmigrator with a past-life soul and a present-life soul.
