The Hospital Wing ward held Dumbledore, Flitwick, and Charles, each lying in his own bed. They had just drunk the potions Madam Pomfrey had prescribed.

Dumbledore held the piece of parchment from the Chamber of Secrets, his expression extremely serious.

Before long, the parchment passed into Flitwick's hands, and he began studying it just as seriously.

"There isn't a single word." Flitwick handed the parchment back to Charles.

Dumbledore added, "I didn't see any writing on it either."

Charles held the parchment and said, "I can see words and pictures on it."

Flitwick mused, "I think that parchment also has a Confundus Charm on it, making him believe he's reading out its contents."

Charles quickly noticed that something was wrong with the other two and asked in confusion, "What's wrong?"

Flitwick told him, "Everything you just read aloud was a jumble of meaningless sounds. I think this parchment also has a Confundus Charm on it, so I didn't want you to read it aloud."

Magic really is incredible, Charles thought. He set the parchment aside, organized his thoughts, and said, "These are spells related to lightning. The first releases a bolt of lightning.
