Background / History
The Wu Clan traces its lineage to Pangu's essence blood and regards Pangu as Father God. The Twelve Ancestral Magi originally considered themselves Pangu's most orthodox descendants, but they submitted after Su Ming demonstrated a purer Pangu bloodline and became their Great Venerable 6.
At the time of Su Ming's ascension, the clan's entire population was limited to the Twelve Ancestral Magi. Although each possessed extraordinary combat power, this lack of numbers placed them at a severe disadvantage against rapidly reproducing factions such as the Demon Clan 6.
Under Su Ming's leadership, the Wu Clan transformed Buzhou Mountain from wilderness into its core domain, later building a monumental Sacred City around its ancestral land. Pangu Hall serves as the clan's central sanctuary and contains the Heart of Pangu, whose pulse resonates with Wu clansmen 17 99.
Su Ming later informed the Ancestral Magi that Pangu had been ambushed by the Heavenly Dao and Hongjun during the opening of heaven and earth. The revelation turns the clan's reverence for Pangu into a resolve to survive, grow stronger, and eventually seek vengeance rather than rush into a self-destructive war 17 18 19.
Organization
- Great Venerable — Su Ming holds authority above the Twelve Ancestral Magi and commands the entire clan 6 30.
- Twelve Ancestral Magi — The clan's original core and highest traditional leadership. They are siblings born from Pangu's essence blood and command innate laws 6 17.
- Great Witches — Elite Wu Clan warriors and commanders; their numbers exceed fifty at the Grand Unity Golden Immortal realm by Chapter 158 107 158.
- Wu Clan warriors — The main body of the clan's military. They train throughout Buzhou Mountain and display immense blood energy and physical strength 17.
- Underworld officials — Chosen clan elites are intended to serve as Ghost Messengers, Judges, Yama Kings, Five Ghost Emperors, Underworld Soldiers, and other personnel after the Underworld's establishment 155.
Characteristics
Pangu Bloodline
The Wu Clan's strength originates from Pangu's essence blood. Its members possess formidable physical bodies, fierce blood energy, and a deep instinctive reverence for Father God 6 12 17.
- Wu Clan warriors cultivate their physical bodies rather than relying on conventional immortal methods 1 104.
- Their bloodline grants exceptional combat potential and creates intense resonance with Pangu-related relics and locations 12 17.
- Pangu bloodline pressure can suppress beings of lower bloodline rank, as demonstrated by Su Ming's authority over the Ancestral Magi and the Chaos Sacred Dragon's remnant will 6 82.
Physical Cultivation
The clan's traditional path centers on body tempering, the absorption of malevolent energy, and the consumption of energy-rich heavenly treasures 104.
- Wu Clan warriors are distinguished by overwhelming vitality, powerful heartbeats, and blood flow compared to roaring rivers 17.
- Sacred City guards wield giant axes and bone spears; a centurion at the peak Golden Immortal realm is described as physically dangerous even to an ordinary Grand Unity Golden Immortal 99.
- The clan's lack of primordial spirits originally prevents it from comprehending Heavenly Dao secrets or using many conventional cultivation methods 39 82.
Twelve Capital Gods and Demons Great Array
The clan possesses the Twelve Capital Gods and Demons Great Array, an inheritance associated with Pangu and the Twelve Ancestral Magi 19 102.
- Its power is weakened by the Ancestral Magi's original lack of primordial spirits 20 102.
- The Nascent Soul Seeds given to the Twelve Ancestral Witches are intended to let the array display its full world-destroying power 102.
Nascent Souls and Primordial Spirits
Su Ming discovers the Chaos Primordial Spirit Regeneration Technique through the Chaos Dragon Pearl, identifying a method that could alter the Wu Clan's fundamental limitation 82.
- The technique offers the possibility of granting primordial spirits to the Twelve Ancestral Magi 82 83.
- Su Ming later provides Nascent Soul Seeds to the Twelve Ancestral Witches and instructs them to refine and merge with the seeds in seclusion 102.
- With primordial spirits, the clan can comprehend the Great Dao, use magical treasures, and better respond to Heavenly Secrets 102.
Underworld Administration
The Wu Clan expands its influence into the Underworld after Houtu becomes Lord of the Earthly Dao 155.
- Their resilient bodies and fierce nature make them suited to guarding the Netherworld and enforcing punishments 155.
- Service in the Underworld grants Earthly Dao Merit and strengthens the clan's destiny 155.
- Houtu retains an Ancestral Witch body at the mid-stage Primordial Golden Immortal realm while her true body remains in the Underworld to sustain Samsara 155.

- Fuxi and Nuwa — Recruited into the Wu Clan after Su Ming offers protection against the coming Great Tribulation; Fuxi's divination is intended to compensate for the clan's blindness to Heavenly Secrets 39.
- Xi He and Chang Xi — The Taiyin goddesses join the Wu Clan after Su Ming rescues them from the Demon Clan and promises them protection and resources 123.
- Dragon Clan — Initially hostile after the struggle over Purple Mansion Continent, but later submits to Su Ming. He assists its revival through the Dragon Transformation Pool 75 82.
- Ten Thousand Demon Alliance — Principal enemy force led by Di Jun and Tai Yi. It contests the Wu Clan's territories and seeks to establish the Demon Court in opposition to the clan 107 109.
- Heavenly Dao and Hongjun — Long-term antagonistic forces whom Su Ming believes intend to use the Wu Clan as a disposable pawn in the Witch-Demon Tribulation 18 126.
