Background

During the creation of the Primordial World, Pangu planned to use the Creation Jade Disc and his True Spirit to evolve an impartial Heavenly Dao. Before this could be completed, Hongjun betrayed him, and the Creation Jade Disc shattered during their struggle. A black aura then polluted the incomplete Heavenly Dao Origin, corrupting it at birth 13.

Pangu later fought the corrupted Heavenly Dao after transforming his body into the world. According to Pangu's remnant will, the Dao's evil will was heavily wounded and forced into deep slumber, leaving Hongjun as the more immediate danger 14.

The Heavenly Dao nevertheless continues to shape the Primordial World's fate. It imposes limits on cultivation, preserves individuals necessary to its tribulations, conceals important heavenly domains, and attempts to assimilate or eliminate forces capable of establishing an independent order 3 42 127 177.

• It influences the course of heavenly tribulations and intervenes when the deaths of key figures would disrupt its larger designs 42.
• Its authority is associated with Primordial Violet Qi, whose fusion would create a Heavenly Dao Saint bound to the Dao's restrictions 169.

Fate Manipulation and Assimilation

Revelation of Its Corruption

Pangu's memories reveal that the Heavenly Dao was corrupted shortly after its birth and became a predatory force sustained by tribulations and living beings 13. Pangu's remnant will identifies it as a long-term enemy, though Hongjun remains the immediate threat while the Dao's evil will slumbers 14.

Interference in Su Ming's Conflicts
