Within a hidden phase, several figures stood upon the void. Each of them flickered in and out of sight, leaving behind only a shadow-like, two-dimensional plane in this nothingness.
Every shadow radiated a deep and vast aura, as though its very existence would bring about the destruction of the world and make the world wail.
The many figures formed a circle, leaving only the seat at the very top empty.
When a figure also hazily appeared in that vacant spot, the gazes of the many shadows turned toward it.
Roy looked around. His sharp, profound eyes swept across the gods, piercing the emptiness of the phantoms and revealing their true forms.
One was a girl of around thirteen or fourteen, wearing a large miko hat and an eyepatch over her right eye. Her flawless skin was framed by long, wavy blond hair.
One was a beauty wrapped in pure white bandages, naked beneath them,
