After the Honkai left, the screen didn't disappear. Huang Hao didn't know why it did that. He originally wanted to go back to playing chess, but because he was worried about his friends, he sat back down with a bad mood.

The screen turned on, and the scene immediately appeared. Through this place, the view shifted to over there.

Angela arrived at the preparation area, but only Hua was there.

Angela: "Hua, where are the others?"

Hua: "They went to try and slow down the Herrscher's movement and domain."

Angela wanted to say it was basically impossible, but now wasn't the time to discourage them, so she changed the subject.

Angela: "What's the situation like now?"

Hua: "It's not optimistic. We can't stop the Herrscher. Qian Jie just rushed in recklessly and was instantly defeated. Going there would be exhausting for us too, but this is the city center, we have to go..."

Hua looked very dejected. It was understandable; facing a disaster with insufficient strength, all they could do was watch helplessly as the outcome they didn't want unfolded. No one wanted this.

Angela hesitated for a moment. While Hua wasn't paying attention, she rushed in. Hua didn't expect this and hurriedly shouted, "Angela, wait! Your power isn't enough..."

Before Hua could finish, she saw Angela moving freely within the domain's range, as if the domain didn't exist at all.

"It seems my power doesn't belong to Honkai Energy."

Angela looked at the flames igniting at her fingertips, then smiled back at Hua and said, before Hua could respond, she left.

Seeing Angela move freely within the area, Hua felt very frustrated. She glanced at the residual flames on the ground and silently vowed to become stronger. But the most important thing right now was...

"Captain! A large number of Honkai Beasts and Soldiers are heading this way!"

The most important thing was her current responsibility!

"I'll handle them. You transfer the wounded, and the rest will stay here to support those inside!"

After Angela entered, she smelled a faint scent of blood. The further she walked, the stronger the smell became, and the more damaged the buildings were.

Limbs and body parts were scattered everywhere. Despite the clear sky, it felt like a tomb for the sun. The blood reflected no light, while the broken buildings gleamed with a similar, yet chilling, light.

Angela was stunned when she first saw this horrifying scene, almost collapsing. However, her strong adaptability allowed her to calm down and continue forward.

The further she went, the more Soldiers and Honkai Beasts Angela encountered. Though they were very weak, their sheer numbers were overwhelming, and Angela expended a lot of stamina. Furthermore, she encountered wounded people along the way and had to rescue them quickly, sending them (killing them) to safety. Hearing their cries for help, she ran back and forth.

Finally, Angela couldn't hold on any longer. She had to stop searching for the Herrscher's traces and found a clean, flat stone to sit on, attempting to contact others.

Within the domain, where even her power was unusable, how could she possibly make contact? Angela ultimately found nothing. Leaving felt unwilling, but staying was also impossible. So, she slumped down where she was, waiting to see what would happen.

However, she couldn't just do nothing. Angela observed her surroundings, looking for a safe place where she could set up a long-term point and shuttle back and forth.

Just as Angela was holding her flame and searching for a marker, the flame suddenly swayed uncontrollably, as if a strong gust of wind had blown.

"What is this? My controlled flames shouldn't sway like this from a little wind. What is this?"

She spun around abruptly, but there was no one behind her – only ruins and the Honkai Beasts she had just cleared. Yet, a strong sense of unease compelled Angela to flee.

"What... was that?"
