Background / History
Shi Jue fell from the sky into Stone Village as a baby, accompanied by black Lightning-Struck Wood. Though the villagers initially feared he might be connected to a powerful being, the Willow Deity judged him harmless. Shi Yunfeng adopted and named him, raising him alongside his grandson Shi Hao. Shi Jue was a transmigrated protagonist but had no memory of his previous life at the time. 1
He and Shi Hao grew up as close childhood friends, sharing a bed and treating one another as brothers. As a youth, Shi Jue cultivated in Stone Village while studying bone inscriptions and developing the group chat as his “Golden Finger.” 3 11
His early exploits in the Void God Realm and North Sea earned him the feared nickname “Big Black Hand.” He became known for ambushes with his slab brick, speed-record feats, and a willingness to rob opponents for resources. 22 27 62
Shi Jue was later enfeoffed as the Hidden Heavenly Marquis, though he regarded the title with indifference. 68
During his Inscribed Realm breakthrough, ancient runes surfaced throughout his body. Liu Shen could not deduce his past and concluded that his origins were extraordinary; Shi Jue himself only knew that the runes felt familiar and harmless. 71
After the chat group ended, Shi Jue absorbed its origin and recovered memories of a prior life. He learned that his current self had formed from the fusion of his previous-world memories and Dao Fruit, and that he had once been a half-step Immortal Emperor who died before completing a breakthrough. His former Sacrifice Dao runes had protected him passively during critical moments. 300
Appearance
Shi Jue is a handsome youth whose body repeatedly changes through cultivation, becoming increasingly refined and resilient.
- During his Cave Heaven breakthrough, his radiant divine body made him resemble the offspring of a True Immortal. 15
- At Spirit Transformation Realm perfection, his skin became fair, soft, scarless, and crystalline like jade. 58
- His Divine Fire ignition regenerated his body with jade-like skin, thick black crystalline hair, and faintly patterned, weapon-resistant flesh. 185
- His eyes can display Bagua runes and emit divine light capable of piercing stone. 185 195
- At Self-Slaying Realm perfection, every inch of his body was described as resembling Immortal Gold. 239
Personality
Shi Jue is carefree, mischievous, and provocative. He frequently teases friends, creates trouble in the group chat, and treats dangerous opponents with unsettling nonchalance. His casual attitude extends to cultivation-world reputations: he dislikes attention but readily accepts the consequences of his actions. 68 159
He is also ambitious and extremely ruthless toward enemies. He attacks decisively when motivated by hatred or opportunity, used the Heir of Sword Valley as a combat whetstone, and gained the “Big Black Hand” reputation through his aggressive methods. 151 154 155
Despite his recklessness, Shi Jue is deeply protective of those close to him. He worries about Qing Xuan’s safety, calls Liu Shen for aid when Shi Hao is threatened, and risks his own strength to shield others from an Immortal King’s attack. 161 188 243
Abilities & Skills
Ancient Runes
Ancient, incomparably old runes reside within Shi Jue’s body and awakened when he entered the Inscribed Realm.
- Their aura is older than the Kun Peng Treasure Technique’s runes. 71
- Liu Shen could neither identify their origin nor deduce Shi Jue’s past. 71
- The runes later proved to be semi-awakened Sacrifice Dao runes from his previous life, capable of passively protecting him. 300
- Their full capabilities remain largely unavailable because of Shi Jue’s former lack of strength. 71
Slab Brick
Shi Jue’s signature weapon is an outwardly ordinary slab brick, originally forged with Vermilion Bird flame and later identified as black Dark Immortal Gold.
- It is the source of his “Big Black Hand” reputation. 22 62
- He used it to ambush and defeat opponents, including a Venerable’s Spirit Body. 62
- In a future-karma-enhanced strike, it instantly killed a Weirdness Dao Ancestor / Quasi-Immortal Emperor. 292 293
- Such a future-karma strike can only be used once at his then-current capacity. 293
Five Elements Rotation
A Five Elements technique used for offense and suppression.
- Defeated a peak Spirit Transformation White Tiger and broke the talon of a Golden Winged Great Peng. 50
- Shi Jue considered the technique incomplete and intended to refine it further. 50
- Its power led others to suspect a connection between Shi Jue and Immortal Mountain. 50
Movement Secret Technique
Shi Jue modified and simplified the Movement Secret Technique into an extremely fast movement method.
- Its speed approaches teleportation by barely touching the laws of space. 34
- Allowed him to appear behind Shi Yi before the latter could perceive his trajectory. 34
- The technique has heavy stamina consumption; an early use consumed roughly a third of his stamina. 34
Bagua Pupil Technique
A developing ocular technique inspired by Shi Yi’s Double Pupils and Shi Jue’s study of Ye Fan’s esoteric texts.
- Allows him to see through the void and glimpse hidden truths. 34
- In theory, a perfected form could deduce the past or future. 34
- After Divine Fire ignition, Bagua runes in his eyes were said to leave no secret of heaven and earth beyond his sight. 185
Willow Deity Method
A technique granted by Liu Shen that Shi Jue comprehended through a life-and-death crisis.
- Enables extraordinary regeneration; wounds can heal without leaving scars. 154
- Revived him after his Heavenly Passages were shattered and his body was near death. 136
- He used it to seize an Incomplete Immortal Talisman from the Shi clan ancestral tomb. 178
Yin-Yang Light Shuttle
Shi Jue’s self-created Divine Ability, formed by fusing Great Yin and Great Yang forces.
- Requires an exceptionally strong body due to its tyrannical recoil. 187
- Became usable only after Chaos Flame tempering transformed his physique. 187
- Even then, its use cracked his hands and drew blood. 187
Primordial Light
A rare Divine Ability originating from a cosmic state earlier than chaos.
- Can stabilize foundations and cleanse harmful or strange power. 275
- Shi Jue used it to purge the strange energy eroding Qing Xuan. 275
- His Immortal King title, “Primordial,” derives from this supreme ability. 296
Equipment / Weapons / Items
- Slab Brick — signature black slab brick; later described as forged from Dark Immortal Gold. 70 292
- Long blade — forged alongside the slab brick using Little Red’s Vermilion Bird flames. 70
- Heavenly Desolation — Kun Peng’s lifebound divine weapon; entered Shi Jue’s heavenly passage after awakening. 58
- Willow leaf weapon — refined and gifted by Liu Shen. 105
- Incomplete Immortal Talisman — left by Emperor Shi Tianyun; can release one Supreme Being-level strike. 178
- Spiritually Communicating Rat — obtained from a Mysterious Stone; its use was valuable enough for the Saintess of Yaochi to offer Immortal Tear Green Gold. 113
- Enlightenment Tea Tree sapling — located using Gu Zu’s information. 224
Relationships
- Shi Hao — adoptive brother and lifelong childhood friend; they cultivate, fight, tease one another, and protect each other. 11 161 243
- Shi Yunfeng — adoptive grandfather and Old Clan Chief of Stone Village; he named Shi Jue and raised him with care. 1 3
- Liu Shen / Willow Deity — protector, guide, and Shi Jue’s desired future Dao Companion; she has no formal master-disciple bond with him. 71 86 103
- Qing Xuan / the Witch — close companion and Dao Companion; their relationship develops from flirtation and mutual support into a bond spanning their recovered past-life memories. 151 168 300

- Jiu Dao Yi — ancient disciple connected to Shi Hao’s legacy; Shi Jue had gifted him a Quasi-@@REF_ENTITY_7556487@@ Weapon in the past. 291
- Yuan He — powerful past-life ally with a familiar, sibling-like rapport with Shi Jue. 304
