Lan Chang'an's existence spans multiple lifetimes, each contributing to his unique understanding of cultivation and the world. His journey began not in the cultivation world, but on Earth, before he transmigrated, marking the start of his first life in a new realm 1 288.

In his initial foray into the cultivation world, Lan Chang'an was a rogue cultivator with mediocre aptitude. Despite these limitations, he managed to reach the ninth layer of Qi Refining, excelling primarily in drawing talismans. This life, however, was cut short when he died in a duel while vying for a Foundation Establishment opportunity 1.

His second life saw him reborn into a cultivation family, this time possessing a High-Grade Spiritual Root. Leveraging the cultivation experience and talisman skills from his first life, he progressed rapidly, reaching the peak of the Core Formation late stage. The current life is Lan Chang'an's third. The insights and experiences from this Nascent Soul Tribulation were invaluable, building upon the foundation provided by his Qi Refining and Core Formation past lives, which had been crucial for his survival in the Cultivation World 287.
